Tony's Chicken — Restaurant in St Helens

made the stupid mistake of putting in a phone order at The Spicy Chicken in St Helens today.Five times I had to explain my order on the phone even though it was fairly straightforward. Fifteen minutes later I drove the 3 miles down there to pick it up. This order cost me £26 so it wasn't cheap. I was handed the order and then drive the 3 miles back home. However,when I got home I found that there was a chicken and chips AND 3 tubs of coleslaw missing!!!!!! Iwas absolutely livid, but when I phoned up to complain I then had to explain my order another 4 times to a man with a St Helen's accent. I don't know how many times I heard him check the order with the other guys working there. Then he came back and had the audacity to say he'd packed the other himself and it was right even though he'd got 4 things in the order wrong!!! He then said he couldn't take my word for it and would have to discuss with his colleagues. He told me would ring me back in 15 minutes but I never heard from them again. I then had to spend a further £7 at a local takeaway to complete my meal. Afterwards I started to drive down to the Spicy Chicken again to complain about my treatment but then I decided to turn back and go on social media to make my complaint.Last night I went on every online feedback site I could find to post this article. That is where the truth about the appalling service at The Spicy Chicken will do the most damage. Avoid this place...

Tony's has been a firm favourite of the family for years..however the last 3 times ordering have been completely incorrect (lady usually taking order is superb) ...when we order a plain kebab because someone does not not like spice or heat we do not expect it to come with fully loaded hot chilli sauce and an abundance of salad???? Not for the first time??..1st/2nd time yeah maybe a mistake..fine..but when I've rang in the past to explain about an incorrect order and had to put up with rudeness and no option to rectify the issue because you are too busy?? I feel that is not fair..sorry Tony...such a shame because your food is beautiful and the best..its just some of your rude staff who obviously don't care and share your passion ...

Absolutely disgusting attitude by the man serving. I don't know whether Tony still owns this, but he would of never spoken to customers in the way I was spoken to tonight!! In the window, clearly states pizzas buy 1 get 1 free 5pm-10pm all week. I called in at 9pm with my daughter and ordered 2 pizzas, he then said £13.50. 1 pizza was only £7.00. I queried and he then proceeded to get the flyer and show me. Ok, fair enough but I pointed out he needed to change the offer in window. He then started to rant... I can take the offer off when I want etc etc... Total disrespect and attitude, probably because I was a woman!!! I will be...
