Went to Dutsons today with my dad. This used to be our fave place to go for breakfast, lunch, snacks and cakes. Was very very disappointed. The food, although it was as described, was tasteless; the tea weak with no flavour no matter how long we left it to brew, the waitress was scruffily dressed, scruffy hair and wearing such a scruffy skimpy vest top that it was showing her bra (not nice when serving food). She had a bizarrely challenging attitude asking why we wanted a particular table and not one of the others that were free. Also when I queried why the bill stated £0.00 to pay she treated me as if I was stupid and asked what was confusing about that. Apparently the only way they can print a bill off to bring to your table is to 'cash it out first'. She was exceedingly patronising. There was zero effort and we felt uncomfortable.This was not true of the other waitress who was very helpful however. The basin tap in the toilet came out as nothing more than a tiny trickle and it was impossible to wash our hands properly. It was expensive for what you get. We will not be going...

Food was absolutely brilliant, high quality bacon, and eggs.... I'd assume their sausages are the same but they didn't have any. Presented well, lovely box with wooden knives and forks. Which impressed. Muffins were delishous and very filling.
But the wait..... My word for two muffins - - 20minutes.... don't go in a hurry.
Had time to finish both coffees I'd ordered...
