We had Sunday lunch here and the food is pretty good. I had the trio of meats. Lamb and pork were slow cooked and tender. Unfortunately the beef was rather tough. Vegetables, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy were excellent. Finished with apple crumble with custard. Pudding was very good. Service was a little slow. Had to ask for drinks order to be taken, and again for food order to be taken. Kitchen were also slow and was an hour from sitting before the food came out. Dog friendly which is good 😀

We booked for Sunday dinner. The table they had put us in as still being used do they moved us to another table. Unfortunately it was where a couple of families with children were. The children were not being watched and were noisy and quite distributive. However the service was excellent and I think of the best Sunday dinners we’ve had out for quite awhile. It was great that we could take our dog with us too.

Lovely pub, well staffed with friendly and attentive individuals. Food was delicious and well priced and there was a good selection of drinks. We also liked the fact they had a small number of other items (like scarfs) for sale as well. It was welcoming and it looks as if it may have recently been redecorated. I would definitely recommend for those in the area.

This is a fabulous place in the very beautiful setting of Marple Bridge. It's dog friendly, which is great news for my furry friend. The menu has a good choice and its all reasonably priced. I had the belly pork which was well cooked, presented and very tasty. My niece has been many times and tells me all the food is good. They do a good selection of pieminster pies, my niece had one of them this time with some sort of a sauce on the side with brandy in it, i tried it and it was delicious. We both opted for chocolate brownie to finish and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was in the week when we visited so it was quiet but I can imagine it would be very busy at the weekend. The service was perfect. I couldn't find anything to fault. If I was going to make a complaint its that i didnt have enough sauce with my belly pork, but I'm the kind who likes to have my...

BIG BIRTHDAY!!! I chose the Norfolk Arms for my birthday celebrations. We booked the upstairs room. Hannah was amazing from the booking conversations right through to the planning & actual event. The room looked stunning. We hired speakers for our own soundtrack. Hannah & staff served Prosecco & drinks as guests arrived. We ordered a buffet to cater for vegetarians, vegans & gluten free people also. The selection of food was incredible. Everything was home made & delicious! Everyone who attended said the food was amazing & they loved the pub & its selection of beers & drinks. Thank you Hannah for making my birthday such a special & memorable day! We are regular visitors to the Norfolk Arms & love……love……everything...

Table booked at 1pm. When we arrived place was uncomfortably cold and our table was cramped it was almost in the empty fireplace. There was no phone signal and the Wi-Fi was not working. Ordered drinks ok when we arrived but twenty minutes later our food order had not been taken with the staff seemingly ignoring our glances. Other tables that arrived later than us had their orders taken. Had to ask at the bar and then our order was taken promptly . Thirty minutes later no sign of our food being served, in fact very few tables in the pub seemed to be eating. Tried to find a signal to find somewhere else but no. We eventually cancelled our...
