Terrible. Have been coming to Ggs on and off for a few years, however the last few times it has noticeably gone downhill. Placed an order at 6.58pm (to be precise) received an order confirmation, food still hadn't arrived by 8.10, rang the shop who had no record of my order!! i was told they have a new website, erm how am I to know this?? at the point I was ready to eat my arm... so when the guy offered to take the order and deliver in 20m I agreed, I had 2 hungry kids mithering me asking when the food would arrive, food came 30m after the call, well for a start no biggy but I ordered n paid extra for a square garlic bread n cheese with stuffed crust, got sent a circular one that wasn't piping hot! and my god the chicken strips in the kids meal are the worst I've ever tasted, literally gone in the bin!! hardly fresh moist fried chicken!! i rang the shop for the 3rd time to complain about the g bread situ but the man claims he misunderstood and I wasn't charged the full amount, haven't even got a receipt to check n tbh cba. Will not be returning here sadly!! In my experience a good establishment will be really apologetic and offer a discount or throw something extra In as a gesture of good will... didn't happen here therefore won't be ordering...

the staff are so rude. I placed an order and the guy said 15mins to an hour. you would not expect it would take whole an hour. when I called to chase it. an eastern European accent lady answered. she said it's not an hour yet , you only called 44 mins ago. we will deliver it in 15 mins. she was not apologetic whatsoever and sounded so proud of the way she was correcting an unhappy customer an telling him to be patient. it's supposed to be a chain restaurant and they're charging 50p if you pay by plastic card. no other takeaway charges you for paying by card.

totally horrible service. on top of everything the food was delivered in an hour and 20 minutes. when called for second time the was still adamant that it's not...

I’ve been going here for over a decade, but it had been a while since my last visit so I put an order in today. I got a kebab and chips. It arrived within less than 20 minutes, as it should do as I’m only down the road, but I appreciate it all the same. The ‘bab’s are always packed out, double the size compared to some places, but you do pay a bit more. The donner is decent quality, no cheap stuff here, but it use to be even better back in the day. The chips are always fresh and crunchy, some high quality chipperoonies! The salad is fresh but there was no’ onion, and we all know that’s the best part of the salad for ye’ ‘bab! Anyway, I’ve been going for donkies, and will still carry on going in...
