To the racist judgy bas* who were in the pub last night who rang the police on my partner for grooming and trafficking a 12 year old girl. Let me educate you with the facts. My partner is a white south African male, born in South Africa with a South African accent. The girl who he was with in her school uniform White British girl, born in England his DAUGHTER. Her parents are both white South African. My partner was in the pub with his daughter last night having a meal and enjoying there time together. When the police turned up after a complaint was made by a tw** in thepub thinking she was being groomed. How utterly terrifying for my partner and his daughter. Why did you judge by ethnicity? And the crying shame of the matter you never came to them both after to apologise after, you wasted police time. My partner came home to me last night and was utterly heartbroken to think someone could be so judgemental and now will fear the worsed everytime he takes his daughter anywhere. What a disgrace. My partner has a different accent to his daughter and a law abiding citizen and is non judgemental shame to say it can't be said for you. To not apologise and even worse the brewers fair did nothing to help or calm the situation down they never apologised we will never be eating here...
Read moreWe stopped here on our way to the Liverpool Champions Parade and, although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast, we decided to drop in before checking out of the hotel. We arrived at 8:13 am and, despite it being extremely busy, we were warmly welcomed by Emily. She was bubbly, friendly, and completely unphased by the hustle and bustle.
While there were no tables available in the main restaurant, Emily quickly seated us in the pub area, which was perfectly fine. She took the time to explain how everything worked, including some handy tips on using the pancake machine safely – clearly needed, as someone else had already made a valiant attempt to set the toaster alight!
Throughout our visit, Emily and her colleagues – Tegan, Lila, and Chelsea – worked tirelessly to maintain a high level of service. They kept everything well-stocked and managed table turnover with great efficiency.
A special mention for Emily, who clearly demonstrated leadership – giving courteous guidance to her team while also rolling up her sleeves and working alongside them. It’s refreshing to see a supervisor lead by example rather than simply delegate.
We’d definitely return to this Premier Inn and restaurant – a great...
Read moreWe came to brewers today at around 12:20pm. we placed our order within around 5-10 mins of being there. After around 25 minutes there was still no sign of our food so we asked our waitress where it was, she said she would go and check. A minute or so later she came back to us and asked us what our order was! Then my partner witnessed her putting it through on the till, I asked her if the order hadn’t gone through to the kitchen and she lied to me and said no I’ve told them to rush. I ordered a chicken meal and to be told that they are going to tell the chefs to rush puts me off as it’s chicken. we waited a further 35 minutes and still no food, a table that was next to us that came in a good 20 minutes after us got their food before we did. So I said to the waitress we are going to leave as we weren’t happy and to which she replied “ sorry about that and bye “ didn’t even seem bothered. It’s the lady with the green flashing Xmas tree headband. I work in hospitality myself and to receive service like that is a joke! No I haven’t exaggerated my experience that’s exactly what happened. We used to coke brewers fayre often but we won’t be...
