Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I ordered at a quiet time I ordered direct, I didn't use a 3rd party site. Order value £100+ but with discount online £53 The order status was updated incorrect so I called the store only to find out that my food was still there waiting for one of there own drivers After waiting 1 hour 12 minutes the driver showed up He passed me some boxes and immediately notice there will be an issue as the boxes are not as hot as you would expect Anyway, I took the boxes and told him that I was not very happy due to the temperature to which he simply replied don't worry it'll be hot Well it was mostly cold and only 2 pizzas had a little warmth to them If this had been solely for me or my partner I would have taken it back, but with 3 hungry children that was difficult to do as it'll be another hour+ waiting for something that may or may not be delivered hot I simply microwaved the food little by little but I should have simply had a hot order delivered Needless to say I will not use this Papa John's nor any other Papa John's as the service was terrific and had not contact from store despite my email and survey to them. This is what I ordered and from 0 being cold to 5 being hot my food was as follows 3 x potato dots (1) cold 2 x portion of chicken wings (0) extremely cold Bacon garlic bread (3) warm but no way near the warmth it should be XXL stuffed crust half and half (2)just above cold XXL stuffed crust all the meats (3) warm but no way near the warmth it should be Standard garlice...

AVOID !! customer service is shocking 1hr and 20 mins for my delivery.. rang up as it arrived cold.. hardly any toppings and just rubbish!!

To be told on the phone by the rudest guy ever.. "it's not cold" blank right told me my food wasn't cold .. when I argued this he then repeated "its not cold" and put the phone down on me .. absolutely disgusting customer service I've I've left £50 lighter with cold food .. I'm really dissapointed and in my life I've never experienced customer service as bad as that I feel extremely deflated. I agree with a couple of reviews that it's a shame because these are usually nicer than dominos .. but I will never .. ever order again. And I hope the man of the phone really is ashamed… copied and pasted from another customers review who appeared to have exactly the same problem… this place needs shutting down. I’m also pretty sure that they have no concerns for allergies or intolerances as my dairy free cheese was in fact...

Deals are cheap enough here, and they should be, you get what you pay for, and Papa John's is not nice food.The pizza base was really hard, almost burnt in fact, hard to chew. Almost zero sauce, not much cheese, and the cheese actually tasted of nothing at all, it was weird. I ordered pepperoni and green pepper, had about 10 bits of pepperoni on a large pizza and barely any peppers at all. I would expect 3 pepperoni slices per pizza slice at least, and for them to be placed in a way so that they remain whole when the pizza is sliced. Just amateur pizza from that place, the only time I've actually thrown pizza away. Better ingredients the Papa says? Not true. Just pay more and get dominos or pizza hut instead. And the free garlic dip...thinking about it actually makes me feel sick. I can't imagine anyone likes...
