Ephesus — Restaurant in Tamworth

I had the special kebab asked for 3 pots of sauce , they sent 5 charged me 90 pence per pot , Total cost for one kebab and chips was £28.30 I was absolutely disgusted with this price ,

Couldn’t get it to add up to anywhere near the amount they had charged ,

After a lot of mmmm mmmm mmmm I was told that the delivery was £2.50 This still didn’t come anywhere near the £28.30 cost so it was mmm mmmm again, 50p handling charge , still wasn’t close to the £28.30 one kebab and chips cost , Was also told in between all the mmmm mmmmm that it’s what just eat charges and Uber eats !

Also that the cost of living has gone up , Nowhere in tamworth charge anywhere near this , Me and the missis have both eaten out at Fancy restaurants for cheaper than the cost of this , (With Drinks) Although the missis was on a diet ,

Buyers Beware this company is out to scam and rob and steal your hard...

Popped in tonight after searching for a good rating kebab shop. Ordered a large donner kebab and got the pitta version which I'm sure isn't the large one. They usually come on a Nan. £9.60 so not the cheapest small kebab I've ever had. Donner meat is lovely, good seasoning to it. Home-made chilli sauce is fantastic. Definitely a USP for this takeaway. I'm not a local so this was my first visit so I'm willing to give it another chance but if that was a large kebab then I'm an elephant. Food (kebab) rated a 4 because the donner meat was great quality but very greasy. Add that to the pitta bread portion for £9.60 is quite a let down. Borderline rip off. Service was a 4 be ause the girl behind the counter gave me a try of the Home-made chilli, which was helpful. Atmosphere 3 because it was empty and not really worth...

Had some good food from here before however portions have always been a bit stingy but never been overly fussed. Paid £8.20 for a large lamb shish kebab today which was ridiculously small and the meat was very poor quality ,very tough and grissly.

I'm not greedy by any stretch but I'm not willing to give my money away for nothing. Upon phoning up to raise the issue I was told I was wrong and that the order was correct and it was 'large'. No effort to rectify the matter at all for a regular customer just a complete shut down over the phone. Not good business over a petty kebab which has cost two customers for life.
