This place has recently had a refit so decided to try somewhere different but wish I hadn't , the decor is to my liking but the atmosphere during lunch was none existent , barely any customers and depressing music , hopefully the food would make up for this but sadly not , the burger I ordered was terrible and greasy which I left , this place has potential but I won't be visiting again any time soon , take your own salt and pepper as none of the tables had any available but sauce was available on request

Great experience at the Crafty Two since the new owners have made significant changes, looking forward to seeing this long-standing venue have a new lease of life. 2 for 1 cocktails are a winner, not watered down or premixed like so many other places. Great selection of draught ales and absolutely banging coffee and cakes! Would recommend for the atmosphere/ambiance and the live music evenings too!

Nice to see a pub in the town offering a more imaginative menu. I had chicken skewers and halloumi fries. Better half had Mac n cheese and loaded fries! The food was fresh and presented with care. Nice flavours going on. £33 with 1.5 pint of morreti beer is probably our pub lunch upper limit, but keep up the quality of food and it definitely makes a nice place to have lunch. Will be back!

A must visit if you're in Tamworth. I was so warmly received and made to feel as a local (in the good way! 😁) which is an extremely rare thing with independent bars and pubs in this country, at least in my experience. Stopped by for a pint of Neck Oil on draught, but after having some great conversations and banter with the staff, ended up returning later on that day to try some of the cask ales available (which were much enjoyed!). This is also genuinely the first time I've ever been invited to come back again on my way out! If I lived in Tamworth, The Crafty Two would definitely be a 2nd home. 😂

Fantastic people and I'm so glad I visited, it was a lovely experience and you're such a...

A very welcome addition to Tamworth town centre. Called in for a quick drink and something to eat, early on a Thursday evening. The pub is unrecognisable from what was there before it. Nicely decorated with a relaxed, trendy vibe, with loads of outside tables which will be hugely popular in the warmer weather. Good to see a decent selection of beer with 4 real ales and a further 2 IPA's to choose from. We both ate, choosing the chicken burger and chicken, ham and leek pie, both of which were excellent. Some interesting dishes on the menu , including tapas. A perfect location for a pre-concert meal if you attending the soon to be refurbished Assembly Rooms which is just...

It's a nice enough place with a good range of beers. It takes cards without a minimum purchase as it should be. Staff are also nice. When busy it gets a bit cramped and there's not a huge amount of seating. It also gets very hot and steamed up in there. I personally wouldn't be able to get relaxed enough to order food and sit and eat it even if you can find a place to sit down, which is a shame as the menu looks good. Most of the tables when I've been in are taken up by people who are only going to be drinking so you can't exactly plan to go there and eat. As others have said though it's definitely a massive improvement on what was there before. Your experience of...
