Came here for a meal with friends on a busy Friday night, we did book before hand as there were 8 of us so thought it best to. This place did not disappoint! We had taken our own drinks as we wanted to keep the price down, but were provided with glasses for our drinks. I ordered a chicken tikka mushroom balti with mushroom rice and a keema naan. It was absolutely beautiful. So flavoursome and one of the nicest curries I have had! Really impressed with the food and service wasn't too bad considering it was so busy. The staff were all very friendly and at no point did we feel rushed as you do in some places. Would highly recommend here to anyone!

The staff were very attentive with the small details like replacing used cutlery and often anticipated what we needed. All the dishes were very well presented and portions were generous, with fresh herbs and the individual personal plates came pre garnished which I haven't seen before. All facilities were very clean. My only complaint is which isn't really a complaint is that the restaurant facade does not do the restaurant justice to match the quality of the interior and quality of the food.

We had a table booked for six - I genuinely didn't expect the food to be as excellent as it was. The Royal Lamb was delicious! The service was very good, with waiters not pressuring us to order as soon as possible but always readily available; they were very good at checking for gluten-free options too, as one of our group was Coeliac. Both food and drink were very reasonably priced, and it was great to see proper Indian desserts on the menu as well. We will definitely be back!

Whats happened to the marmion , we have been 2 Saturdays running , turned up with out reservation , the place was empty this was around 7ish ...2 out of the 4 ish had an ok meal ... went this sat ( 12.07.25) booked a table for same time thinking the week before was a one off , arrived place was dead again ...had a conversation between ourselves asking whats going on the place has always been busy especially on a sat. To sum it up the service was terrible, attempting to serve our main course when 2 plates were left from the starters when 2 out the 4 of had just finished there starters . I asked my friends are you ready for your mains as you ve literally just finished there starters, no clearing away , no tidying up of our table ,no asking if we're ready for...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! - would give no stars if possible. The food was utterly disgusting, the currys came wrong and the butter chicken looked like baby sick. The chicken was minced but was ordered as chicken pieces. They replaced those with a classic chicken curry which was quite clearly tomato soup with a few spices and chicken, it also smelt like rotten rubbish and made the entire party sick (was instantly thrown away). The balti was no better. It's been 15 minutes since we've tried this and thrown it away and we all either have been or are feeling very sick. Side note - They openly let their delivery driver drink beer at the bar before going out on deliveries which is not only morally wrong but illegal. AVOID LIKE...
