Ramsgate Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Thanet

Decided to go with a recommendation and try something different last night and am so annoyed, we'll not do it again. Tried to and failed to order a takeaway in Ramsgate tonight. Ramsgate Fried Chicken wins the award for terrible customer service, rude and unapologetic, by the sounds of every researchable review, quite amazing that they are managing to keep afloat. Not only 2 hours late since the point of order, when finally we got through to a staff member they blamed it on poor old delivery driver (why is there only one?!) whose putting up with this mess and it will be there promptly only to be dealt with good old Dean (another delivery driver) who refused to hand over the food coz it's "not his fault man." Whatever, ramsgate you've failed us on the delivery front and I won't be rushing to order from this company...

progressively just getting worse. Customer service ridiculous even for regulars. order from here every week and order has been wromg many times but usually i cant be bothered to chase up the missing ribs or pieces of chicken. I clarified my order 3 times with the man who could barely understand me and who i could barely understand . order arrived wrong. After beong told dont understand and hung up on twice I was told i would be sent the missing item. half hour later-nothing. i then spend 10 mins calling them before they answer to be told my order was taken wrong and they would not be sending me the missing items as it wasnt enough for delivery. regular weekly customer since they opened years ago and wont be using again. appalling.

Me, my partner and friends all love Ramsgate Fried Chicken. We live around 5-6 miles away but will make the extra journey for the good quality food they provide. I also order in using a takeaway app and almost always the food still arrives nice and hot (a few years ago we had a late and cold delivery but has been fine since). It's a shame they don't list, or regularly have their grilled chicken, as it is so tasty. Whenever I see they have some in shop I get it. The chicken is very nicely seasoned, the chips aren't the usual type and have a nice crisp texture. Gravy could be better, it just seems to be normal supermarket style gravy. Overall you won't find better fried...
