I had high hopes for this place knowing the chef Brendan and the butcher Andy ( chef and butcher ) were part owners of this amazing restaurant and they certainly lived up to my expectation!
We had 3 x rib eye steaks all cooked medium, ( as a rib eye should be to marble the fats ) and each were cooked to perfection and that flavour was just sublime! Accompanied with roasted shallots, tomato and al dente veg. Crispy thick cut chips and a rich peppercorn sauce… wonderful.
Staff were attentive and all very happy whilst working which is massive tick in the box for me.
A lovely setting with views of vibrant Albion street which cements you’re in a great location.

He had Sea Bass as a main and it was perfectly cooked. The accompanying broccoli was griddled and served al dente with almonds. He's very particular about his food and loved it all.
My peach, serano ham and mozzarella starer was beautiful and the unusual salad that accompanied my main course was sublime.
We both finished with lemon posset which was beautifully balanced; coffee was great.
