Stopped off here for a cream tea! We were both going to have one as the board outside the cafe stated "Cream Tea for One" but decided we'd share one as this was already our 3rd cream tea in as many days 😂 As uou can see from the photo, we're very glad we did 😁 as it consisted of 2 very large scones, and fantastically generous portions of both jam and clotted cream 👍 We were served very quickly by a very polite young lady, who couldn't do enough for us. A credit to the cafe, and great to see these days. The cream tea itself was gorgeous! I also had a filter coffee (also, annoyingly known as an americano!) which was both nice and hot, and flavoursome 👍 We really enjoyed our afternoon treat, and will go as far to say that of all the cream teas we had, this one was the winner 🥇

Great place to go for breakfast and lunch, or just for a coffee ☕️ as our accommodation couldn't serve breakfast (staff member had covid) we found this place which was a short stroll away. Lovely friendly staff who care their customers are taken care of 👍🏽😊 must try the large cornish breakfast. I had that on the day we were leaving and I didn't eat again until dinner time! The baps (select your fillings) and the paninis were great too 👍🏽 definitely worth a visit if you're in Tintagel. Didn't take any photos of food as too hungry and was lovingly devoured before thinking about taking a pic, so you'll have to take my word for it that the food was Good! 😂

Chose this spot over Pengenna Pasties next door due to stronger reviews. Opted for indoor seating because of the wind. The pasties were piping hot but lacked the bold flavour I’d hoped for—maybe that’s just pasties in general, but I wouldn’t rush back for them. However, the service was outstanding: warm, efficient, and full of positive energy, both towards customers and among the staff. Many long-established places could learn from them. The real standout? The tomato and red pepper soup with sourdough—absolutely excellent. I’d return if in the area, though, ironically, not for the pasties.

Came here after hearing they serve gluten free cream teas. Service was friendly and efficient when taking our order. Firstly, our items came separately so my son was finished with his cake before I had recieved the babies food or the gluten free cream tea. The pot of tea that comes with the GF cream tea I asked if it could be swapped for a latte and was told it could be - when it was served it was served with a biscuit that wasnt GF which I only found out when I asked them. My family said that the food was delicious especially the millionaires shortbread. However, the GF scone was awful. My partner (who isn't ceoliac) had one of the scones and took one bite and left the rest it was that bad. As a ceoliac, it was the worst scone I have ever had. It was like eating an omelette covered in jam and cream. It was claggy and heavy unlike a 'Normal' scone. I didn’t complain at the time because we were hoping for a relaxing half hour before our 4 hour drive home however this was cut short due to the table next to us' dog barking constantly as it was unable to be around other dogs in the establishment. Upon paying when the lady was reading the recipet back I came to realise that the latte that I was told I could swap was actually added at full price with no discount for the tea I didn't have. Based on this experience myself and family won't...

No word of a lie, THE BEST CREAM TEAS EVER!!! We asked for 2 cream teas - not reading the menu, ended up with two scones each and a massive pot of tea! The biggest scones you'll ever see, beautifully presented - the clotted cream with a strawberry on top was a lovely touch. My boyfriend ate both of his scones and I managed one. But took it back to our caravan over an hour away, kept it in a air tight box and it tasted just as good 3 days later. We even contemplated driving back just for the cream tea, minus the castle next time! We bought that scone back to Essex where we live and shared it with my parents who couldn't speak, all we got was 'mmmmm' so must have been good! This was all bought with smiley faces, brilliant service and a lovely clean welcoming atmosphere! Thank you for making King Arthur's Castle even more brilliant. We will definitely be...
