So I had never been to 5 Guys before but Today I was in the Trafford Centre with my daughter shopping 🛍 and after a busy day of shopping we headed to the Food court and my daughter said she wanted to take me to 5 guys.
So we headed down to 5 Guys my daughter ordered a little cheeseburger(It wasn't little it was huge) with Cajun fries, I ordered a large cheeseburger(Double Patty) with Fried onions, Lettuce etc and normal fries.
To drink my daughter ordered a bottle of water and a large Dr Pepper and I ordered a Brooklyn Lager(Bottle), The food is made to order which i really liked the food only took a few minutes and it was ready so I was excited to taste the famous 5 Guys Cheese burger 🍔 and wow it was well worth the wait.
Burger was succulent, tasty and was without a doubt the best burger 🍔 i have ever eaten, The skin on Fries 🍟 were amazing too and I tried my daughters Cajun fries 🍟 that were amazing.
Restaurant is spotlessly clean, super polite and friendly staff, Excellent service, Fantastic food and great experience.

Ordered the little shakes.
I used to be impressed with the ingredients you can customise with but now having a good look at them I realise that unless you got a sweet tooth and want chocolate the variety is limited. I mean say you want a fruity milkshake... and choose mango what can go with that?
I went for biscoff, peanut butter, oreo and chocolate. The other was mango and banana.
The milkshakes were proper small. Prob smaller than McDonald's Mcflurrys which are half the price.
The taste was there. Got a taste of all the different flavours. But the texture and temperature was a bit off. I've had their milkshake from other branches and it was much better, and colder.
It was hard to drink. I think they have to understand that people are supposed to drink this using straws. But after every suck, bits of biscuits were getting stuck in the straw. Making it difficult to drink and spoils the experience.
The mango one was better to drink and it tasted nice.
We sat on the tables for a bit. I noticed few of the female staff were huddled together near the napkin stand having a chit chat and joke for a good few minutes. When I worked in retail I was always told not to stand around doing nothing and to always keep busy. So I found this a bit...
Read moreI was debating between 2 or 3 stars. In the end I've gone for two. The staff were really helpful, particularly with social distancing measures in place.
The food is very good, especially the fries. You will come here for the burgers or hot dogs - nothing much else but that is what they advertise so you shouldn't fault them for that.
However, I will probably not go again simply because of the price. We went during the Eat out to Help out scheme (50% off) and when my order was totaled I asked if they had forgotten to take the 50% off... they had not forgotten...
It would cost a family of four over £50 easily if everyone wanted regular burgers, fries and a drink. Extortionate and a shame as i really did enjoy the food. However, if I am willing to pay those prices I'd be looking for more of a restaurant type experience.
Not only this but the presentation was poor - o one of our orders of fries had been chucked in the bag and was upside down and...
