I would like to make a complaint regarding my experience this morning.
I attended the Camden bar & kitchen this morning before my flight. I did not have a lot of time so I asked how long the maximum wait for food would be and I was advised that it would take 10-12 minutes maximum.
This was also confirmed when ordering as shown in the screenshot below where it advised my food would arrive in 8-13 minutes.
After 20 minutes, I made a request to cancel and refund the order as I no longer had time to enjoy my meal before having to board my flight.
At this moment, the manager ran to the kitchen and came back with my food a few minutes later but I advised it was already too late.
I advised it had been 20 minutes after being advised it would take anywhere between 8-13 minutes and even showed the screenshot below which shows when you order using the QR code on the table.
The manager refused a refund and said it had not taken long enough for him to be able to refund it so I asked how long it would need to take and he advised if it was over 20 minutes. I told him it had been this long and showed him the time and receipt but he still refused and would not give any more reasoning.
This was an awful experience. I was misled to how long the food would take, then I made them aware that it had been too long and to cancel/refund, only to have the food bought out to me late and a refund refused. I advised that I can no longer accept the food and do not have the time to eat it and the manager still did not care or provide any help.
I would like to raise a formal complaint and to request a refund for the below order as the food was never received in the time stated and having waited 20 minutes after being advised it would take 10-12 minutes maximum by the host at the front of the establishment which was key to whether I...

I said I just got here, don't have a table yet He said you can't just walk in and order, you need a table first.. To which I replied it wasn't clear on entry.. Same guy asked me if I wanted red or brown sauce with my breakfast.. I said brown. Breakfast arrived, minus sauce and no coffee.. Repeated attempts to catch a staff member went ignored, and I couldn't leave my bag at the table as I was travelling alone.. Finally 'thee lady' front came to ask me what I needed..i said coffee, and she seemed irritated and abruptly said yea yea it's coming.. Id been waiting 10 minutes, breakfast pretty cold by now, as waiting for sauce too. I said I was also waiting for brown sauce.. She said they only do ketchup, and I said OK, but the chap who took my order asked me which I wanted, and I said brown.. She yelled over to him as to why he did this, he shrugged, looked confused and denied it.. Absolutely bizarre! But not as bizarre as me half way through my breakfast, with ketchup on it, to have a random staff member literally chuck 3 sachets of brown sauce on my table and say 'There's your sauce mate'.. Absolutely bonkers.. Place isn't great, but would benefit greatly from a staff...
Read moreThe very bad service, apart from the fact that you ask online for the option to tip and if you do not know how they are going to attend you you pay for a bad service, we were going to miss the flight because we had not realised that the door closed early and we had ordered the food more than 5m ago and we asked how long it took it said 10m (15m) hard 30m and the worst thing is that it was super unpleasant and rude, we asked how long it took and he said that it was already coming, we asked for the refund and said no that the food was already coming! I'm late we had to put everything in a napkin because they don't let them carry anything even as a matter of urgency. I ordered napkins from the waitress (another girl) and she told me to go get the napkin at the bar, I was left with my mouth open. Then the other waiter let's talk to him and he said it's not my fault and showed a gesture that he didn't care! One came that looked like the manager and got something cool saying but tell me what the problem is but with an attitude like defensive! And not pleasant! We told him that the service was bad and unpleasant and we didn't have time to talk and we missed the flight and we had to take breakfast in napkins. Bad experience / the service a "0"
You can see in the photo the horrible presentation! You pay a lot and look at the little amount that beans and horrible presentation! Now they come with a sorry in the review as if that...
