Bruno's Pastéis de Nata — Restaurant in Wales

We've just moved into this street recently and tried the coffee and some of the pastries. Coffee in this bakery is hit and miss, pastries sometimes is okay sometimes it can be stale. The owner of the bakery is extremely loud! He shouts and scream a lot for ages and it's not just during the day but in the middle of the night too! My house is a few houses away from his bakery but we still can hear his voice! My kid couldn't focus on his homework...

Found this amazing bakery quite by accident. The Portuguese cakes and patisserie are something to behold but couldn’t resist trying a corned beef pastie seeing as they are something of a Welsh delicacy and a personal favourite of mine. I have to say it is the best corned beef pastie I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had quite a few in my time, the pastry was awesome and the filling sublime, even better than my homemade....

I have been meaning to visit Bruno’s for a long time and it definitely did not disappoint! Only wish I had gone sooner; we popped in for an afternoon coffee and cake. The custard and macaroon slice was really light and not too sweet, whilst the de nata was the best to be found in Cardiff.
