I found this lovely cafe during a day trip to Porthcawl with my friends, and it was the highlight of our day! Nestled by the harbour, it's the first and only place in town that does both specialty coffee and great food. ๐Ÿ˜What a gem! ๐ŸŒŸ

The cafe is newly opened, but it's already bustling with locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a lovely view of the harbour (especially when it's sunny!) โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

The menu offers a variety of brunch options, from classic favorites like pancakes, baps, and eggs benedicts to patisserie options. The coffee menu itself has a wide variety of beans to choose from, prepared either with a V60, as a batch brew, or as an espresso. ๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅโ˜•

Everything we ordered was delicious, and the "Hardlines" valentine's special blend batch brew I had was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, despite the busy lunch rush. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŒŸ

One thing to note too is that the cafe is dog and kids friendly, which is a huge plus for families. There are also outdoor seating options which is great when it's busy. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ‘ถ

I highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Porthcawl, especially food and coffee lovers. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious brunch/lunch with a stunning view. I can't wait to...

Awful experience in this establishment this afternoon.. we are a family of 5 with 3 young( very well behaved ) children all under the age of 7 . As I was inside ordering cakes for the children the extremely rude young dark haired waitress approached my wife and kids and asked them to move because she didn't think we were ordering food or drinks from the cafe. The set up outside is very confusing, the bar next door has a similar name . When people are slightly stressed with young children and just want to sit down to have a drink and gather their thoughts there is no need to be spoken to like this . The same rude waitress then came over to our table to give us a verbal because our children had taken a free shiny sticker.. ( if they don't want children to take them then they shouldn't have them on display, this is like putting a big red button out and telling a child not to press it! )

The cake was dry and had obviously been sat out all day on the counter top and was over priced.

We would highly recommend that any families avoid this place...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I visited this coffee shop yesterday with my two children they picked out cakes and I bought a can of water (I donโ€™t drink hot drinks or alcohol). We sat outside on their benches my family then came and sat with me, only to be approached and asked to move because I supposedly hadnโ€™t bought anything. I explained I had, and even showed the can of water, but the response from the owner was shockingly rude: โ€œA can of water, that's only ยฃ1.50!โ€ โ€” as if that didnโ€™t count.

I reminded them I had also bought two cakes, but was still told that I hadnโ€™t spent โ€œenoughโ€ to sit there. It was incredibly embarrassing and completely uncalled for. Apparently, unless you spend a certain amount, you're not welcome even if youโ€™re a paying customer with children.

Totally greedy, disrespectful, and a horrible way to treat people. I was totally distressed for the amount I spent. A sale is a sale, no matter how much it is. I will never return and wouldnโ€™t recommend this place to anyone who values basic kindness or...

We were recommended this place by some family in town and it turned out to be one of the best breakfast places we attended on our whole trip. My wife had the Welsh rarebit, I had the poached eggs and the kids had pancakes which they loved. The pancakes had pieces of bacon in between each pancake in the stack. The atmosphere is very pleasant and whether sitting inside or outside you have a view of the waterfront. The staff were very nice and helpful and we did not have to wait long for our food. They also have a pretty unique cold drink selection as well (ice teas, juices etc.) I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Porthcawl area.

Very cool coffee shop! We visited two days in a row because we loved it so much the first time! It was very busy though, with it being pretty difficult to get seats and the second day there was a decent wait on food - unfortunately we didnโ€™t have time but we could tell from other tables it looked and wouldโ€™ve tasted amazing! The coffee is very good too, with a selection of beans available and an even bigger selection of drinks, coffee and not coffee. The cakes were also abundant and tasty, with our slated caramel gingerbread slice being very yummy! The service was fast and charming, and the views our the front are just fabulous, great shop ๐Ÿ˜
