Cornerhouse Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

A horrendous experience here. I’d bought two bottles of drink for my children and asked for change of a £5 note for the car park, to which I was refused and I commented that this seemed a bit ridiculous. I was then approached by the owner whilst on my own in the car park with my two young children. The owner was very intimidating and aggressive and accused me of swearing at his daughter behind the till which I obviously wouldn’t have done. My children and I were both very upset and my son has had nightmares about ‘“the man” since this event occurred. Whilst the food maybe lovely here, if the owner is capable of bullying a mother whilst on her own with her children, I would highly suggest...

Dropped in for an ice-cream - which was delicious BUT I have never been charged so much for such a tiny scoop that disappeared down into the cone. ALL my previous experiences with ice cream by the scoop have resulted in the product sitting ON the cone, not sliding into it. The pertain was small by even child measures! Was too embarrassed to say anything at the counter but £8.00 for a single scoop that didn’t fill the cone & a double scoop that was equally tiny was a rip off in the extreme. Found this lovely cafe this morning while visiting Little Haven this morning. We received a warm friendly welcome from every member of staff, the baps were huge and filled with bacon and the coffees were lovely and hot. Our dog was even given a sausage on the house. This is one of the nicest dog friendly cafes we have been to (and we've been to a lot!) and shall definitely return if we revisit Little Haven, thoroughly...
