Definitely up there with the best burgers weāve ever had. Not cheap but if youāre hungry and nearby, very much recommended. The āCheesy Swineā and āDonāt Knock Itā burgers plus āMac & Cheese Halloumi Loaded Friesā are firm favourites. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the food here.
Couple of tips. Donāt forget the burgers come with fries as standard so either order without or upgrade to one of the loaded options to avoid āfries overloadā! Also, if some of your party/family are split on what to eat they also own the excellent fish & chip shop across the road so earlier this week we were able to bring some cod bites, frickles (I love them!) and some of the chunkier chips across and eat them together with others in our family group who had burgers, loaded fries, nachos etc. It was quiet at the time tbh so Iām not guaranteeing this (!) but generally the staff are very friendly and helpful and if youāre sitting together anywayā¦
Also, if youāre in the Milford Haven area donāt forget their sister restaurant āStackād by Sand & Stoneā at the marina. Weāve also eaten there in the past and the burgers are equally delicious plus they have some different options available compared to Sand & Stone. If you can, visit both! :-)
And no, we have absolutely no connection to these places other than just being very happy customers. Try them, Iād be amazed if you donāt consider their burgers to be among the best...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter seeing posts on Instagram over the last 12 months i'd been really keen to try this place, i finally got around to it on Monday evening i cannot believe how terrible it was.
I paid £8.90 for a very small portion of chip with some nacho sauce and what seemed to be two squares of burger cheese and £9.80 for some 'loaded' nachos which were a box of nacho again with some cheap nacho cheese sauce, about 10 jalapenos, a scattering of sweetcorn and a two teaspoons of very cheap guacamole. I was over charged for the chips as my order was taken wrong, i was not offered a refund for the difference.
My only thoughts are as it had been such a hot day the restaurant had run out of ingredients, they had run out of beer. If this was the case i would rather of been told this rather than paying an inflated price for food less enjoyable than i could of had from londis next door.
Broadhaven is in desperate need for a place like this however the reality is a million miles from what's shown on Instagram. I should have taken photos so the review carried...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot rave about this place enough, yeah the food was amazing, great portion sizes and very accommodating to allergies (my daughter is intolerant to wheat and had a fantastic pizza!) But best of all, the service was absolutely out of this world. We walked in at a time where they were just about fully booked, but they squeezed us in and got us a drink and let us wait for a table to be free. The waitresses were just amazing, they came and checked on us at least 2 or 3 times to see how the food was (not in a pushy way though) always with a great big smile and always so willing to help. One of the ladies serving us stopped for a chat after we had eaten and seemed genuinely interested in our holiday and my daughter who was chewing her ear off! Honestly, the best service I have ever received in a restaurant, bar none! Can't...
