Found on Google and has great reviews. Awesome! Walked in after a 4 mile hike to grab some lunch. First impressions; cute little place with an array of items to purchase as holiday gifts or keepsakes etc. Greeted by a lovely girl, friendly and cheery. Going well so far. Menu behind counter, top of the menu- Lobster roll. Salivating, I ordered 2 lobster rolls…response: ‘sorry, no lobster until summer’. Wha, wha, what??? Maybe that shouldn’t be the top item on the menu then…or better, on the menu at all! Ordered 2 (prepackaged) crab sandwiches for £8.50 each. Hardly any filling, overly salty (but that could just be me?) on super thin bread. Disappointed is an understatement. When the business is called ‘Lobster & Môr’, one expects lobster. To then have a prepackaged crab sandwich, which might at best possibly fulfil a toddlers appetite, at the price charged is daylight robbery. Update your Google business info and menus with what seasonal produce you can provide and consider selling a freshly made to order sandwich with actual adult size filled portions or reduce the price because current price is outrageous for what you get. I’m more than happy to spend money on quality over quantity, but that just wasn’t...
Read moreLovely spot and a lovely lobster roll. Coffee was also very very good. The best thing about this small town is the people. When I left my wallet in the Lobster and Môr, I returned to the shop but it had closed, I was unsure if I would be able to retrieve it before continuing my trip around the stunning Welsh coast. However a local legend who happened to be outside the shop then called the owner, Dan, to help me get inside and grab my wallet which I had left on the table. Dan was busy but allowed this local legend who proceeded to drive to what I presume to be Dan's house so we could grab his spare keys and let us in. Thanks to these guys I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip. Karma be good to these type of people. I aspire to be...
Read moreThis place is great. The coffee is excellent (and I’m aware I can be a bit picky), across a 2 week trip to Wales this was the best I had-so much so that we ended up visiting three times in two days.
The lobster sandwich was delicious. I’m only writing this review now after mentioning to someone how good it was and feeling like I needed to tell the world! The lobster is all caught fresh and we had a chat with the lady there about them, how they’re caught, etc.
The gift shop is great too. We picked up an original bit of art as a memento for our...
