The food itself was absolutely beautiful and the interior of the building has been very well thought out and adds to the authentic feel. Personally I felt that value for money wasn't there overall with a bill of a £160 between two couples, i'd deem this rather excessive. A 250ml glass of Rose Wine being £8.50 made me feel like I was sat in London, not Bridgend. Service was generally very good although one of the offers they had on, did not automatically deduct, which caused some confusion with the waitress but was rectified rather quickly. The last thing I will touch on, is that of the seating arrangements. I can't help but feel that there are too many tables and chairs close to each other. Luckily for us we had a round table with a plush curved bench seat and two chairs. Where as the other static tables next to us, definitely did not provide a comfortable place to eat IMO. I think this restaurant will be great for those fanatics of this type of cuisine or for special occasions a few...

Me and my partner had food here last night! I was super impressed, the first thing that caught my attention was how personable the stuff were. Corey was lush and very engaging and was constantly checking in. Infact all the staff there looked very happy and like they were enjoying work. Service as a result was top notch. There was a sushi chef on display which was lovely to watch him create all the wonderful looking dishes it really created a good entertainment. The food was delicious and there was a set menu that was very good value for money and allowed me to try lots of dishes. All beautifully plated. The cocktails were by far the best I've had locally too so I think we will absolutely become frequent visitors here. 10 out of 10.

It's clear this restaurant look after their staff and as a result the service was exceptional, the food was out super fast and very tasty. Keep up...

Absolutely incredible experience start to finish. Before you even walk in, the building from the outside is stunning. You walk in and are immediately wowed by the decor. I just kept looking around the room! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming, great selection of meat, fish and veg options. We did a tapas style order and ordered multiple things for the table and everyone shared. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted incredible and I even went out my comfort zone and tried raw fish and loved it! Most of our food was not raw though and it was all delicious. The drinks / cocktails and mocktails we had were sensational. The staff were so friendly and professional. Definitely the kind of place to go for a special occasion, a small group etc but also nice and romantic for a couple. Would...

For me, one of the best ways to destress is by enjoying good food. So, we decided to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant nearby called Gin & Sake. The ambiance is both elegant and classy, and the food never fails to impress! As someone who loves Asian cuisine—especially Japanese—this place really hits the spot. We kicked things off with spicy ika and takoyaki as starters, then enjoyed my favorites: beef yakiniku and chicken teriyaki. My boy had the chicken karaage with chips, and we all loved it! There’s a huge variety of dishes to try, and the spicy ika has officially made it to my favorites list. Will definitely recommend, plus 10% discount for NHS staff! You should try it too and taste the goodness for yourself! #JapaneseRestaurant #GoodFoodGoodMood #GinandSake
