Kaspa's Bridgend — Restaurant in Wales

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered a waffle and apple crumble with ice creams to be delivered. Had a phone call from the restaurant to say they’ve forgotten half my order. Okay no problem thinking they will not be long behind our ice creams. An hour later I had a phone call saying the driver can’t work out where my house is. So I text the driver my address and postcode after already telling them what it is. Gets a text saying “ would you be able to come here and meet me” with no explanation of where this driver is.I started to feel unsafe giving out my personal information to an unknown number. Bearing in mind we have paid for delivery, it is cold outside and I am heavily pregnant. I then went on to ask where the driver was to be told he was at the wrong street. I told the driver to keep going until he got to our house number. Our ice creams had melted by now. I then saw a car outside my house 1.5 hours after my initial ordering. The driver still couldn’t work out where our house number was even though it’s in huge writing outside our house. We had to flag him down to then have our delivery given to us and the delivery driver walked away without saying anything. No apology nothing. Now I have a very cold waffle and melted ice cream. Never again. Absolutely shocking. Never had service like this in my life. 0/10 disgusting. Wouldn’t feed...

Last night on valentines day after looking online and seeing this kaspas don't close untill 10.30pm we drove to kaspas to order dessert. We arrived at kaspas at 9.50pm and was waiting to get served, a gentleman came up and asked if it was sit in or take away we said take away as he was going to take our order, another staff member came up and said its to late they are shutting everything off. I explained to the lady it's not due to close untill 10.30pm as stated on the website she said it's wrong and hasn't been changed yet. I advised again we wanted take away and we know what we want to order can they please put it through as we drove all this way and the lady was rude and said you cant its tough the last order has been taken. There was another couple who came in right before us that had got served and her attitude was awful. I understand if times have changed but it should be updated as we drove there to just get turned away and we knew what we wanted as we usually order from here. Rude staff. Upon arrival (4 adults 3 children) at 9pm, we were told that they were closing at 10pm which was fine and plenty of time for us. Straight after we answered the lady regarding the hour earlier closing time a male member of staff assertively shouted from behind the counter "Masks, do you guys have masks" to which the lady handed us masks. We sat down at the table we were taken to letting go of how rude we were welcomed and started looking through the menu that we were all familiar with being long term repeat customers. At this point we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome due the the looks we were receiving from the 3 men behind the counter and the fact the lady started mopping the floor around us.

It was clear they all wanted to close up and leave and we were an hindrance. Tables tilted over and cleaned and ready for a new day.

Store not up to date on current Welsh Covid restrictions and if it wasn't the restrictions they were following and its Kaspa's stores new rules - that was not made clear when question.

Unfortunately I will not be returning to the Bridgend Kaspa's from this awful experience...
