Mostyn Tandoori — Restaurant in Wales

It was the worst experience in my entire life. Purely unacceptable welcome from the staff, and it was really rude. When I came there and tried to sit on the dining chair, one of the staff called me from the behind to the reception to take the order. I made my order, and he didn't ask me whether it's an take away or eat-in, and also when I asked for a still water, he advised me to buy it from outside shop as the drinks there were expensive and that sounds so rude. Finally, I came back with water from outside and tried to eat-in, the staff didn't allow us to sit and enjoy our food there and agrued with me in front of every guest, that I have ordered takeaway food not eat-in. Actually he didn't utter a word take away at time of order and I was shocked because I came there to enjoy dinner with my family, and that guy destroyed our happiness that night by refusing to sit there by arguing that I had ordered takeaway food until I left the shop even after I tried to explain him that I need to eat in there. It was really painful how a customer can be treated like this... never and ever visit there again and not recommended to all who need dignity...

Spent the weekend in Llandudno and fancied a curry. I found this place online and thought I would give it a try. The restaurant is well presented and the lighting is very modern. There were four of us and we were fairly hungry and ordered a mixed grill, a chicken balti and lamb balti together with 2 garlic and 2 plain naan’s. The place wasn’t that busy and the food came out fairly promptly. The mixed grill came out sizzling and the curries looked great. The naan breads were freshly made and were piping hot. Once we tucked into the food, we were not disappointed! The curries whilst they had a bit of a kick, they were not too chilli and tasted great together with the fresh naan. The mixed grill also tasted good but the curries did the job. The waiters were very attentive, especially a young man named Arsalan, and the customer service was top notch. For a place which I found last minute I was very happy with the outcome and will definitely revisit if I am ever...

We went after reading others positive reviews. Extremely disappointed. Restaurant very cold to begin Our starter poppodoms with dips several scorched/ burnt. And dips not that great. We ordered chicken byriani and chicken balti. And some sides Firstly the meat was tangy/ tainted tasting. I appreciate different restaurants use different spicing.. but we eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and never had taste like this. After another mouthful we complained. Guy was polite as he literally whipped everything away apart from our sides saying he'd replace it and give him a chance.. which we did. When it came back our sides were cold. The mains little better but not right in my opinion. He explained it was because of what we picked? Even though they're our usual favourites! We left about three quarters of food.
