Pantri, Llanberis — Restaurant in Wales

After a morning hike at Dinorwic Quarry, we were starving and looking for a good spot to eat—preferably somewhere outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. We came across Pantri, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

It was a bit busy when we arrived (just past 12 noon), but we managed to find a table outside. The vibe was great—laid-back and sunny.

We ordered Eggs All Ways, Potato and Chorizo Hash, Mixed Olives, Cheesy Fries, and Hot Chocolate. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. The Cheesy Fries were a surprise favorite—so good and full of flavor! I actually felt bad not finishing everything because we were so full and satisfied.

One of my most memorable breakfast experiences, and I’m so glad we decided to stop here. Highly recommend Pantri, especially after a good hike...

Terrible!! Staff need some training around customer services, wasn’t even greeted and were sat at some weird table in the SHOP?! Why?!

The decor is drab and boring.. the whole atmosphere is depressing. They have one napkin for 2 people to share and didn’t offer sauces or even ask if the meal was okay.

On trip advisor it claims to be ‘friendly and welcoming’ but it’s the opposite.

One poor lady came in who was partially sighted using a stick and asked where the toilet was and instead of staff offering to support her they just replied ‘outside round the corner’ .. how RUDE! She even left.

There was just stuff everywhere, didn’t look inviting but unfortunately after a longs drive and no where else around it was bad luck,

Staying locally so popped up for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the full Welsh, which can be seen from my empty plate! It was a decent size meal to set me up until the evening. I had this with a pot of tea for one, which did 3 small cups.

There was a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in, offering me to find a table where I would like to sit, as it is full table service to take your order and bring your food, offering sauces, etc, just going to the counter when finished to pay.

My constructive criticism would be to maybe get somebody to update prices on the website (prices as per my visit on 05/09/25 can be found in my photos).
