I saw this on the internet trying to find something to do for our last day in Wales, it's hidden away behind the Slate Museum and you wouldn't stumble upon it unless you knew to look for it. My Son was well up for it and I thought I would give it a try. When all harnessed up the instructor takes you to the top of a tower and you navigate obstacles high in the air, 3 young kids went for it and I bricked it and didn't go. The instructor didn't pressure and tried to persuade gently but it wasn't going to happen. One level down and another set of obstacles, I gave this a try and was the most terrifying thing I'd ever done, again the three kids seemed to have no fear. The a ride on a giant swing, that was fun, very fun. 2 hours filled but I don't think it's for me, it's very different to other high ropes courses, and much more personal with the instructors taking the time to get to know you. If you have more bravery than me you will...
Read moreWe've been here three times now. We drive almost two hours because it's so good and the surrounding areas are outstanding, absolutely gorgeous with lots to do.
The people who work here are always so kind and patient and really good with kids. My daughter did the high ropes course for the first time and was terrified but the guide was so calm and patient even though she took absolutely ages for each thing due to fear. In the end she didn't finish it because it got too much for her, but she had a go at the giant swing and thAt turned out to be the highlight of her weekend in Wales 😄
Her 5 year old brother did the low ropes and had a blast. He's done it a few times before and has really grown in confidence!
Highly recommend this ropes course company. Very professional...
Read moreWe went there during the Easter Break. Had the place mostly to ourselves. Our 7 and 5 year olds had a wonderful time. Their sessions are by the hour and you can do as many circuits as you can within that time. Ours managed to do two circuits before calling it a day. They have instructors with every child guiding them through the course. The instructors are blessed with infinite patience and a great sense of humour. Parents can join them on the course or watch from the ground. Filming is allowed of your own kids. Cafe serves hot drinks and ice-cream to keep everyone happy. The Slate museum next door (free entry) and this are enough to keep your kids happy for the whole day. We are definitely returning if we are in the...
