Snowdon Honey Farm & Winery — Attraction in Llanberis

Saw this place on Google a few nights before, as I had planned to go up Snowdon that day on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.

While we were waiting for our train, we decided to take a walk into Llanberis where we stumbled upon this store, immediately remembering the page on Google.

Its a nice little store which is closed off to the public due to social distancing measures but you're still able to shop from the front of the store.

I saw the owner walking around the outside of the front of the store and introduced myself. He was a very friendly and helpful man, who is very passionate about honey.

He has a wide variety of honey, each with it's own distinct flavour, some crystallized and some clear. He allowed me to sample quite a few different versions of his honey which he has packaged himself. It looked as if he had beehives in his back garden and there was a sign towards the beehives but we didn't have time to take a look.

I ended up buying 5 jars of honey. I can't wait to return as the honey has gotten rave reviews back with my family in Birmingham.

I'll definitely return here to say hello to the gentleman and to buy some more of the delicious,...

Where do I start with this honey shop? Went passed there today with my partner , and couldn’t resist stopping, the owner was the kindest and did not hestitate to assist us to be sure we selected the right product for us we tried and tasted a mix of honeys free of charge and decided on a smooth blend, and a maple style honey which we were told came from a local tree , and these are the sweetest nicest honeys we have thus far tasted!! I could not fault the service and highly recommended if you pass snowdonia or are visiting the area , bonus we received a cute sized honey spoon. We left quite quick not realising we had over paid but the owner was quick to stop us and handed us the correct change once again highly highly recommended and it will not be the last time we visit this store...

Omg omg omg I have a teaspoon daily and after I've swallowed it I'm met with a smile and every morning I say how can this money make me smile and it really does..it's soul lifting.. thank u so much lil ol' lady and ur genuine bcoz u answer a question I ask all honey sellers and u where truthful and have supplied me with a month of smiles... I'm due to come back just to see u lil ol lady God bless...
