Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Wales

Unless you’re willing to wait 45 minutes to an hour in the store after your collection time, get blocked in by delivery staff and other customers, I wouldn’t bother.

Numerous customers were coming in and complaining about waiting times and some customers were coming in complaining that their delivery hadn’t arrived at their home address 2 hours over the estimated delivery slot!!

There was no apology and no discount of any sort for the absolute shocking service.

There was 1-2 staff members working their absolute socks off trying to get some sort of order in the place. However, some staff looked absolutely clueless walking around. Some of the staff were feeding each other food in front of customers who had been waiting for hours, unprofessional! Of course, the “Fag”breaks are more important.

The food was OK, wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best papa johns I have had. I have no doubt in a few months it may be a good place to go, but for now I will be avoiding.

There was also a full pepper in my pizza box too (which I noticed another review had the same)

If you’re from Bridgend or surrounding areas, I’d stick to Dominos or...

The staff were completely rude and disrespectful. They didn’t apply correct discounts that were clearly advertised on the menu and door. We tried to order in store then we were ordered to order online but the website wasn’t working. They kicked up a fuss and said they wouldn’t split the bill 4 ways but when we went to pay, the cook shouted “can one of you pay and bank transfer each other? We are busy and don’t have time” we said no as we were promised we could split the bill and pay separately. He then said “no, charge them £10 each and one gets the rest!”. We then said we wouldn’t do that but his aggression got worse so we decided to go. The rudeness and complete incompetence cause me and my friends to leave and write this review. In short DO NOT EAT OR ORDER HERE! Unless you want to be disrespected and shouted at.

Also, dominoes is cheaper, helpful staff and better food. Easy choice when it’s a 10...

me and my boyfriend ordered food because we wanted to try something different than just dominoes. well we orders at 6:30pm and had a call from papa johns at 7:16pm saying that they only had 2 drivers and was doing the best they can. then 8:30 came around and still no update on the app about our food so we called and it took us 3 tries to be connected and we spoke to a manager (who seemed jittery) who was very nice and apologetic and offered us a free drink and told us a it would be another 30 mins. 9:00 came and food was delivered. the food over all wasn’t bad but the cheese smelt a little funny and we were never given our complimentary drink (we weren’t so bothered) just a little upset that it took roughy 3 hours to come. overall the staff were sincere...
