I recently had the pleasure of dining at Slug and Lettuce, and I must say it was an outstanding experience, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Jordan Rowe. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, Jordan greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude, setting the perfect tone for the evening.
Jordan's attentiveness and professionalism throughout the meal were truly impressive. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and answering all of my questions with confidence. It was evident that Jordan takes great pride in their work and genuinely cares about ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience.
The service was prompt and efficient, yet never rushed, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace. Jordan was always on hand when needed, making sure my water glass was filled, and checking in on me at just the right moments without being intrusive. Their friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest, and I couldn't have asked for a better server.
In addition to the outstanding service, the food at Slug and Lettuce was delicious. The flavors were delightful, and the presentation was top-notch. Jordan's recommendations were spot on, and I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied and content.
Overall, my experience at Slug and Lettuce, with Jordan Rowe as my server, was simply exceptional. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon to enjoy another wonderful meal and the warm hospitality provided by Jordan.
Thank you, Slug and Lettuce, and thank you, Jordan, for making my visit truly...
Read moreBooked a table, had requested a booth but this was subject to availability we were also advised there was a time limit to our table at the time of booking which we understood but had hoped we could stay. We had a small table which was right at the back of the restaurant but well positioned for the rugby. Food was tasty but arrived Luke warm and became freezing by the time I had to ask for a side I'd ordered. I ordered drinks at the bar and mentioned to one of the staff that if a booth became available during the evening would they consider allowing us to have it so we could stay for the day and make the most of the drinks they had available. The lady at the bar explained that one booth was booked but they hadn't turned up and would give it some time before letting us have it . 40 mins later nobody was sat at the booth and we had been asked to move out of our seats. To keep this review as short as possible nobody sat in the booth or our vacated table for the duration of the next hour a so, we were then placed next to a pillar and very squashed between the walkway of waitresses taking drinks to the rest of the pub so we had to continually move to let them pass. I mentioned again about the booth and suggested We would like to stay for the evening and the manager said very sternly its been booked again (opposite to what the barmaid had said which I must say was very sympathetic to us) Overall this made us cut our evening short and we would not consider this venue next time around. Wouldn't have been so annoyed had both tables not been empty The whole time we remained there which was well...

I booked a table for 7 people to celebrate my graduation. We ordered a few cokes and some cocktails before food. The male member of staff asked to see my ID and my friend's ID. My friend showed her ID and I went to the bar and pointed out the fact that I was in official Swansea University graduation robes (you need to be over 18 to attend University). I didn't have my physical ID as I wasn't carrying a bag or anything. The man had a disgusting attitude and said he needed to see official ID. I managed to find a photograph of my passport on my phone - I'm 28 years old. He wouldn't even look at the DOB. He was merely being petty at that point. I asked to see a manager but he said he was a manager which I didn't believe for a second. He didn't look at me and was very short and rude with myself and my party. I decided I wouldn't be dining there due to his attitude and we went to Ask Italian instead. I told them what had happened and they thought it was ridiculous as I was clearly over 18 due to wearing my robes.
Avoid Slug and Lettuce Swansea! Think we spent a grand total of 15 minutes there. Staff couldn't care less about the way they speak to people.
Reply to Slug & Lettuce Response: if that man really was the manager, I certainly do not want to contact him. I complained privately via Reputation initially and all I got was 'thanks for your feedback'. Now I've put it publicly, you're 'disappointed in the service I received'. You have my contact information - you can reach out to me if you genuinely want to...
