The Bagel and Burger Kitchen — Restaurant in Wales

After surviving a long night of alcohol poisoning, in which I lost my dignity and my shoes, I awoke at 5pm and hastily checked that I hadn't made it to the WalesOnline front page for my earlier delinquency. Luckily no one had seen a shoe-less gremlin in the streets the night before. I then removed myself from my bed, vomit had fused my body to the sheets, like some kind of narcoleptic limpet. As I rose a hunger ran through me and shook my very bowels. It was time.

I slimed my way out of the front door into the welcoming darkness of a December evening. After aimlessly walking down the tired streets, I saw it. A shining beacon of gluttony. I entered to be greeted by the glorious Mora, whose warm attitude made me feel like i had been forgiven for the previous nights hedonism. I then picked up a menu.

The menu was not an enormous book of descriptions and explanations, just a clean cut simple menu. Too much choice is a bad thing, believe me. I decided to have; a naga chicken burger with extra cheese , some skin-on fries and a vanilla shake. Which awesomely comes as a meal, with sauce and slaw too!

Mora got to the shake, while Stefano and Leonidas did the food.

Lets start with the shake, too many of these places have a highly unbalanced milk to icecream ratio, but not here. You get a proper shake, the kind of shake that heals your f*cking soul.

I could practically see the passion flying out of Leonidas and Stefano as they cooked up my fries and burger and it shows. The fries are banging, skin on, cajun spice too. Proper chips, not some McDonalds salted potato twiglets.

Then the burger was epic, quality chicken, lovely veggies that aren't overdone, and the awesome naga sauce. This is a hot burger but certainly isn't too hot, unless you're a bit of a wuss.

All tied together with your choice of sauce and some devilishly good slaw.

In conclusion, this restaurant is pengaleng and cured not just my hangover, but the subsequent shame of losing my shoes and vomiting onto my bed the night before. Thank you for an epic meal!

Steffano, Leonidas and Mora...

This is the second or third time I've ordered the buy one get one free burgers And while they're good value. The chicken burgers yesterday were stone cold and Rock solid as if they were old and kept in a hot box and the loaded chips were literally thrown together with no care. The chips are always cold and old. It was just a congealed mess. The hamburgers are also not great quality considering they're supposedly " gourmet". If I'd have paid full price I would have been absolutely livid. Even if they are buy one get one free surely the minimum you can expect is to have hot fresh chicken in the burgers. The first time I ordered it was great. Fresh chicken and very tasty. The last two times the biggest have been cold and overall not good quality. I'd say if you're on a budget. Ordered 3 burgers all with fries and drinks for collection. Once home we’d received everything except 1 burger which was odd considering that’s the main thing I ordered.

Called straight up and a lady answered and gave me an ultimatum whether I can drive back and collect the burger or call back up in a future date to have a burger on them (considering I paid for a burger and never received it).

Called up this evening to have the ‘manager’ on the phone saying nothing is recorded on their system and he can’t issue out anything apart from another 10% off my order with an already discount of 10%..

Shocking customer service and from the manager himself I wouldn’t have expected that.
