Hurray for a bar that is an old-fashioned bar… no food served. It’s not really a “pub” bc of that, but that’s needed in a town where people meet up just to be together. This spot features a true community that welcomed us and engaged us in their conversation- we were happy to experience their pub and hear about their perspectives on the world....

Smallish pub, warm on a cold day. Two ales, Timothy Taylor's Landlord (poor on the day) & Doombar. Nicely refurbished pub (no hot drinks served), gents toilets down a flight of stairs (strong smell of damp) but good condition, told Ladies toilets good. Lots televisions around the pub showing...
