If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that blends the vibrant flavours of Thai street food with a delightful ambience, Giggling Squid should be at the top of your list! From the moment I stepped inside, I was swooned by the cute settings, adorned with colourful flowers that sensibly complement each dish's artistic presentation. The charming decor has an air of warmth, making it the perfect dining experience. First up were the Pork Dumplings. These steamed beauties blew me away. Each dumpling was filled with tender, succulent pork, perfectly paired with a zesty, gingery soy and rice vinegar dip. They’re a fantastic introduction, setting a high standard for the dishes that followed. Next up, I tried the Salt & Pepper Squid, Each bite of crunchy squid was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of spice & batter. This is undoubtedly a must-try for any seafood lover. My partner ordered the Massaman Curry. With its mythical origins and legendary flavours, it lived up to the hype and then some! Simmered to perfection in rich coconut milk and beautifully perfumed with cardamom, every spoonful felt like a warm hug. Lastly, I ordered the Spicy Double Curry Seabass. This dish was a festival of flavours with its succulent seabass fillets complemented by a colourful medley of aubergine, pea aubergines, fine beans, and sweet-hearted cabbage. The sauce had a slight kick but I was expecting more when it came to the spice level although still very tasty. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu, thank-you I would definitely return.

The starters we ordered was the crispy squid bits and North eastern papaya salad and they were very good, we did request for the papaya salad to be less spicy but it was still a bit to spicy for my friend so I had to eat it all. For our mains we had a Pad Kee Mao, Drunken Ribs and Tom Yum Fried Rice. The Drunken Ribs was very nice with a lot of flavours but the vegetable paired with it wasn't morning glory and was replaced with Pak Choi and Broccoli stem, the Pad Kee Mao and Tom Yum Fried Rice was decent. As for dessert I just ordered a double espresso while she chose an americano. And because we couldn't finished our food we was given these take away boxes and these take away boxes looks very nice, I love it. The restaurant staff is friendly and had regularly checked up on us, the atmosphere was bright and was well lit with lots of flowers and if you're dinning here on a date or with your friends and family for a meal then I would suggest to go here in Warwick.

It's Tuesday night, hadn't seen my mate for quite a few weeks, so time for a catch up. And of course some good food. While driving round looking for a nice place to eat, we stumbled across Giggling Squid. Menu on the door looked and sounded quite nice. So in we went. We hadn't booked in advance but that was no issue. We were seated straight away. The staff here are all very welcoming and very helpful. And omg the food. The presentation, the colours and the flavours. Wow, absolutely loved it. the jungle curry was a little spicy for me but it was so tasty it was worth ploughing through, it was that nice I even took the rest home. We will be back. All in all well worth popping in.

Our first visit to Giggling Squid. We were staying overnight in Warwick so thought we'd try it. Seated in the corner we were asked for our drinks order which came quite quickly. Couples and larger parties came in after us and were seated. They were asked for their drinks orders and soon after for their food orders. We waited patiently........other tables were being given the full attention of the staff.......finally, we made eye contact with the waitress and she came over to us and we ordered our food. Starters came and were lovely. Plates cleared, our main course arrived. We needed more drinks. We had to call someone over to ask for them. Mains finished , our table was cleared and we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. We said we would like to have a look. We sat and waited.......other tables were being serviced, bills paid, tables cleared and cleaned......we waited. No dessert menus were brought over. We asked for the bill, paid and left. We were extremely disappointed with the service we received. We would have thought the fact we had been forgotten about when we should have ordered our food would have meant more effort was made to be more attentive during the remainder of our meal. Sadly not. Unlike the couple on the table next to us who seemed to have the full attention of the staff. The very poor service spoilt what would have been a...

We decided to have a later lunch and passed the Giggling squid yesterday afternoon we decided to go in. Our experience was not a culinary delight. In fact the experience was very unpleasant. The Squid dish to start came in some brown type of gravy which was very sweet more like a dessert. I wanted and tried to order a salad and asked if I could have a chicken as an alternative the chief was asked and said no so we asked for a portion of chicken with the salad which we said we would pay extra for and that seemed a really difficult question and after asking the staff and again the waiter went to ask the chief this couldn’t be done as it was not on the menu!! In the end I decided on stir fry chicken. Which I imagined would be a simple stir fry dish and presumed a range of vegetables and chicken how wrong was I. The stir fry came in the brown gravy similar to the squid. Calorific or what!! Yucky and very sweet. The stir fry consisted of peppers, onions and no other vegetables. The other meal was not much better. Asking for the bill a very officious lady came we both said the experience had not been pleasant. This is the first time I have ever given a review but the experience was not a good one and therefore is warranted. The good was not good. Sad in these times that there was no flexibility, and staff attitudes would not give to a good...
