not sure if we are just unlucky but this is the second time in a row me and my partner have had issues coming to this nando’s. several months ago we came here for a date night, both ordered food and drinks at the same time yet my dish came first and 15 minutes passed and my partners didn’t show up. i had to walk up to the desk and ask where his dish was and it turned out to be just sat on the counter ready to go the whole time but no one brought it out. of course it was a little annoying but we brushed it off to not ruin our night.
and a couple days ago we came back again, yet again ordered food and drinks at the same time. our drinks came as normal and we sat waiting for our food, watching other guests sitting down after us and getting their food before us. we waited for 35 minutes just giving the benefit of doubt that maybe they’re just really busy. i then yet again walked up to the counter and asked where our food was and was told that a staff member accidentally wiped off our order and it’ll have to be remade which took even more time. we were offered free dessert which was nice but it is so infuriating that this has happened twice in a row to us. and even when we did get our food my dish was wrong, i ordered a side of coleslaw and was brought mac n cheese (???) and when told it was wrong they asked me if i wanted to keep it instead of the coleslaw which i think is ridiculous. it’s so sad because me and my partner love eating out at nando’s but this has really tainted our experience and we might stay away for at least...

We were waiting at the doors for 11:30, the staff have acknowledged we are waiting but have not opened the doors. I have then called at around 11:40 to find out what the situation is as I have already paid for parking. If you are from Leamington you will know you can't extend your parking on the Ringgo App, so as soon as you pay for parking, you have a short time to get seated somewhere, eat your food and go. I was advised on the phone "yes we know you are waiting, I have to ask my manager" couple of minutes later "Please come back in 10 minutes as we are delayed." I did ask, if we were able to wait in the restaurant and we will not order etc until advised - no response.
Not on this particular occasion, but multiple times before the waitresses (majority of them) are absolutely rude and just look like the life has been drained from them. Maybe because they employ such young people who do not actually care about service?

Very rude member of staff. We placed the order for takeaway which was ok, but whilst waiting I asked if the sauces on the shelves were for sale. A member of staff said yes they were… so I picked a few bottles and was waiting to pay. Several staff members came and went without serving me. Someone called the manager when he arrived, I told him I want to pay for this items… he y told me “Put them back on the shelves, they are not for sale!”. I said one of the staff told me they were for sale. He repeated shouting, put them back there they not for sale… they are for display.
I didn’t put them back, I just left. I was expecting that he would acknowledge that another member of staff misinformed me… he should apologise for the wrong information.
It seems that the staff are not trained on what’s for sale and what’s not. And definitely are not trained on how to speak to customers. Terrible...
