A lovely clean spacious restaurant with friendly staff. My husband and I came in at just after 1pm on a Saturday and were seated straight away. There is plenty of choice on the menus (starters, mains, drinks) with clear descriptions of each dish and its ingredients. I chose sweetcorn patties as a starter while my husband had spring roll. They were enjoyable, but my favourite part of that dish was the amazing sweet chilli dip! My husband then had belly pork with mushrooms and cashew nuts, which he said was delicious. He also had egg fried rice, which he enjoyed but couldn't finish as he was full. I had a papaya salad, which was lovely. It was very spicy. It's not often I find anything too hot for me, but this was very close! I also had a bowl of jasmine rice. The food portions were good. They looked quite small on the small plates, but there was plenty there. More than enough as we couldn't finish! There was a variety of drinks. I chose a bubble tea, and my husband had two ginger beers. The price is higher end than we'd usually pay for a lunch, but it was wonderful food and great service. It is certainly somewhere we'd like to go again. Accessibilty Accessibility is good. There are no steps, there is a disabled toilet, and there is space to move around between tables (some tables are quite close together while others are further apart). It was also fairly quiet, although there were quite a few people in there. If there was any background music, I don't recall hearing it. It's light enough to see what you're doing but no harsh lighting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rosa's Thai, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! Nestled in a cozy corner of the neighborhood, the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm ambiance that perfectly captures the essence of Thailand. The menu offers a delightful array of options, and I found it challenging to choose just a few! After some deliberation, I settled on the Pad Thai and the Green Curry, and they did not disappoint. The Pad Thai was brilliantly balanced—sweet, spicy, and tangy—each bite bursting with authentic flavors. The green curry was a fragrant masterpiece, with just the right amount of heat. It had that amazing aroma that only good Thai food can have, making every mouthful an adventure. The service at Rosa Thai was noteworthy as well. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. She was patient and helped make excellent recommendations, even sharing her personal favorite dish, which I can't wait to try next time! To top it all off, I couldn’t resist trying their Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. It was like a heavenly hug for my taste buds; the creamy coconut milk paired incredibly well with the sweet, juicy mango. A light, refreshing end that left me completely satisfied. Overall, Rosa Thai is a fantastic addition to the local dining scene. Whether you are a die-hard Thai food aficionado or just curious, this restaurant is worth a visit. I will certainly be returning soon—there's still so much more to explore on that menu! Highly recommend! 🌟🥢

Update: We were invited to revisit, and so did today. Full availability of items that were excellent and consistent with authentic Thai dishes. Papaya salad and sticky rice worth returning for! We also had a really good conversation with the manager regarding the gluten-free menu and practuces, and he will be feeding back what we highlighted. We left feeling confident that they take it seriously and genuinely wanted to help. A far better experience and we will visit again now. The food we had was pretty good, to be fair. However, there was no availability of papaya salad or sticky rice (two Thai staples!). How does a Thai restaurant not have sticky rice?! This screams pre-prepared/delivered products and puts us off visiting again. The labelling for gluten-free was also not consistent. This is extremely important for someone with coeliac disease. This also highlights 'chain products' as some dishes made authentically do not contain gluten yet were not suitable here. Sadly, the service was slow and not very enthusiastic. It was pretty quiet when we visited, so there was no reason for any delays. Putting the 'optional' service charge on is a horrible practice as to remove it puts the onus on the customer to request this. I imagine many people pay it and grumble afterwards rather than 'looking mean'at the time.

Entry into the restaurant to be greeted by a really warm welcome. Genuinely friendly staff and a cosy vibe.

Sadly let down by the food. One dish green curry containing beef was really strange, like the beef had just come out of a freezer, cut into pointy cubes; and immediately placed into a pressure cooker to try to soften it as quickly as possible. End result being a bland tasteless piece of beef that had a really strange taste as it broke down in the mouth. Not good. Never quite tasted anything like it. Almost like the beef was fake tasting.

The other dish which was chicken pad Thai had way too much noodles; because it was mainly noodles. Very little chicken, and any sliced vegetables or spring onion. The balance was just wrong. It looked a really big meal because it was mainly just noodles, so I most of it was left to one side.

When the bill arrived as the service charge was £5.74 which I thought was a bit expensive, and I didn't want to get into the embarrassing discussion of why most of the meal was just left, but I think the staff kind of knew something wasn't right by the plates.

Total bill £51.64 which I thought was expensive.

We've been to a lot of these establishments throughout the UK and go generally every 3 or 4 weeks to different ones as we travel, - and this one was the worst sadly, and it has definitely made us rethink our choice to grab a rest and meal.

Sorry guys, but you did ask for a...
