Valentines set menu was terrible. Such a shame when the reviews are so good. Service was terrible, they didn’t seem to care that the food was not fresh and we were told we could have the main menu and then shortly after told we couldn’t at the beginning of the meal. A very expensive bill for minimal food and food I barely ate. The meat and cheese board was shocking. Cheap tapas meat you get from the supermarket and cheap white bread and a mouldy strawberry. Prawns were overcooked, greasy and when peeled open hardly any prawn in. Inedible. We sent them back and had the same thing again. We didn’t eat them. The chicken was dry with a badly tasting pineapple sauce. The ‘pulled’ tacos were full of tough meat. The only positive was the shredded chicken. Would have much preferred the main menu as promised at the start of the dinner and had the lovely food posted in the photos on these reviews. Highly...
Read moreWhilst the food was good, the service was poor and the experience was very poor. Despite being in the restaurant’ part, the order’s soft drink arrived in a bottle with a straw, and the fizzy water lacked fizz.

We came especially for the ceviche, which my husband said he fancied if I could find somewhere that served it. The ceviche did not disappoint - packed with fresh shrimp in a beautifully tangy lime, tomato and cilantro stock. I had the trio of pork shoulder tacos which were fantastic, and the arguably even better platanos baskets; plantain stuffed with shredded chicken. Add in a margarita, some churros and a lovely chat en español with the staff and wonderful owner, and you’ve got yourself a winning meal out. ¡Muy rico! ¡Mucho gracias Rumba! We hope to see...
