Part & Parcel — Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

A frequent place we go, however the food quality has definitely changed and it took forever to get our food. The garlic bread is horrifically garlicly and hard to eat. Even when loaded with the cheese it is horribly salty and not worth the money. We have tried it the last two times and it's been disappointing. I took one bite and left the rest. Pizza and Burgers are good. Price is a lot for what you get. You also have to pay for dips which is a joke with how much the food is. Fries should come with burgers standard. Planned a birthday gathering for months, asked specifically for the back room as last year in the front it wasn't private enough. Was told two weeks prior the rugby was on so the TV would be in the area, perfect as most of the group would love this. All turned up ready for the match and was told we were moved to the front of the pub. So didn't get where we specifically asked for. Some forward planning to reserve that area wouldn't have been hard to do. Considering there were 20 of us, how much money we brought to the venue for that evening 5-10pm. Staff member came over to tell me this was our area because too many people had showed up in the private bit.. but didn't show any remorse and walked away. We then had people taking our tables and chairs because we were in the open front area. Maybe have some sort of roping system to create private areas? Wont be hosting anything here again, Really sad as Dodo pubs have always been good for us and fans for years. Cheltenham and Witney frequently....

Ok so we had a meal here last night 1st oct 2021, You have to order at bar which is fine and when we ordered we had to wait exactly 1 hour for food to arrive which wasn’t great but the food was lovely and the person servicing which I am guessing is the owner because he bought us a round of drinks which was. Avery nice gesture and he was so friendly, food was quite nice although a very limited selection, and I would suggest if someone books a meal for a night when you have a DJ on put them out the back room so they can talk and hear each other. But overall I like the place And I think 4 stars is about right with the delay and selection etc but food was good and friendly staff so can’t mark it down too much. Probably wouldn’t go back unless for a couple of drinks but don’t let this review put you off, the food is lovely but it is a very relaxed atmosphere, we would rather in a quieter environment, give it a try the...

Nice pub with good atmosphere. Pricey on the food and drinks but not bad enough to steer clear. Unfortunately was double charged for a burger, ordered Buffalo wings, Dodo burger, and 2 cokes. Came to £45.50. Realised after getting the food I’d been overcharged and went to get a refund. Was refunded £8 which at the time seemed about right. Only to realise the next day that it still didn’t add up! After doing the math they charged me for a second burger at £14.50 but only refunded £8 of it. Wings £8.50, Burger £14.50, Coke £4.50 each. Unfortunate situation.

Edit: Went back for the Quiz night they do on Tuesdays, had no intention of mentioning the refund issue but was recognised and apologised to and had some of our food comped for it. Very grateful to the staff for remembering me and...
