On 3/6/2022 I attended Revo on arrival there was a homeless man outside who I offered to buy a drink for. I purchased the drink and took it outside to him. Once back inside me and my friend had already been seated in this time within 2minutes a waiter attended our table and already knowing what I wanted I didn't explore the menu folder I just placed my order. Once i had ordered I notice that there was dogs inside. I'm open minded to restaurants and other establishments having pets inside to create a second home experience however due to my health conditions its not a establishment I would choose that has pets. We asked to move to a table away from a table that had dogs on and our waiter was happy to do this.
However I spoke with my friend about it, we decided to stay as we had ordered our food already and understand the cost effects it can have on a business if customers order food and leave. During this time of us eating our meal there was a dog that wondered around the restaurant leaving me to feel at very unease and distressed. I then witnessed a staff member pick up a dog bowl from a dog went towards the kitchen refill it and then take it back to the dog. He then went on to serve other customers without washing/hand sanitising his hand.
I asked for the bill as I had experienced enough and was feeling very uncomfortable my body had started to itch and tingle I could feel myself having a reaction. I asked to speak with the manager I explained to him that I wasn't making a complaint but a expressing my observation as a customer and how I felt by the end of my experience. The manager became very defensive and start to talk back at me stating that they are a dog friendly restaurant, it what the owner wants his establishment to be, they have a excellent hygiene rating, they have never had a complaint, they are not going to change being a dog friendly establishment, its plastered outside the restaurant they are dog friendly. Not once did I disagree with him however being a dog friendly restaurant it should state this boldly, clearly and repetitively throughout the establishment and it should be apart of the meet and greet wen staff welcome a customer into the restaurant.
When leaving I looked at the front of the building and before you approach the ramp, the foyer and the waiting area nowhere does it say anything about dogs friendly. Only on the front of the building as a final bullet point it states its dog friendly. The manager stated it was plastered and that was not true.
Being a dog friendly establishment it should state it BOLD and clearly that it's a dog friendly establishment.

Read moreGave this place the benefit of the doubt the first bad experience I had, I won't do the same for the second. First time I went here, I was shown a seat and waited 50 minutes for someone to take my order. Despite trying to get the attention of several members of staff (who were too busy talking to each other to notice) I left without ordering.
Popped in a second time hoping for a better experience, which unfortunately I didn't get again. Stood at the front of a LONG queue of people for a long time to be seated. Several very empty tables and staff going at a snails pace, and no one even acknowledging that we were waiting. Wasn't sure if, due to the time of day, we were allowed to seat ourselves, and the people in the queue behind us were unsure also. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot and my child was getting irritable waiting (given that we'd also had to wait in the crazy golf because there was no member of staff there to serve us to start with). Saw one of many empty small tables out of the way, and decided to go and sit down and wait patiently to be served. A member of staff miraculously appeared to tell me "there is a queue" to which I explained that I was well aware because I had been waiting in it with no acknowledgement and no sign of any staff to help. Was spoken to like a child and asked to rejoin the queue, when it would have been perfectly easy to just clear the two cups that were left on the table and let us know someone would come and take our order soon. We were next in the queue to be seated, I would have understood the tone of voice had we skipped the queue. We didn't rejoin the queue that was now out of the door waiting, and simply left.
I have worked many busy hospitality jobs and understand staff have other things to do and that there are sometimes waiting times, but to simply not acknowledge customers when your restaurant is half empty, and then to talk to them in a condescending tone when they explain that they had been waiting doesn't make for good business. The crazy golf was fun, but I won't be returning to the restaurant to give them a third chance to...
Read moreWhat a nightmare. First, I'd like to say I have been to Revo several times and it's always been fine. Today, however, was horrendous. A family group of six, we arrived there at about 10, for a birthday breakfast. We ordered and received drinks efficiently, and the staff were friendly. Then we ordered food. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were happy to chat and look at the view while we waited. After half an hour, we started to notice that nearby tables where people had arrived after us had ordered and received their food. After forty minutes, I asked a member of staff what was going on, because one group, who arrived after us had already eaten and left, while we were still waiting for food. She said she'd check but she never came back and there was still no sign of our food. 50 minutes after we ordered I spotted the same woman and went and asked what was happening. She said our food would be with us in a minute. I pointed out that others had eaten and left while we were still waiting, and she just said "there's a 45 minute wait and anyway you're a big group" and walked off. There is so much wrong with this. There was not a 45 minute wait when we placed our order, customers should be served in the order in which they placed their orders and, most important, she should have come back to us to explain any issues, after she had checked with the kitchen. A further ten minutes passed. Three of the people at the table work in hospitality and were appalled at the lack of customer service. We believe that our order probably went astray as soon as it was taken, and that it was probably only started after I chased it up. If someone had come out and explained any problems after I asked what was happening, we would have understood, but all we got was excuses and being fobbed off. An hour after we had ordered, we walked out. Revo needs to provide some customer service training urgently. What was supposed to be a celebration for us turned into a horrible experience. I...
