The Bay Café — Restaurant in England

We had a late lunch at The Bay today with my 4 year old. I was surprised and happy to see that this long forgotten building turned into something so amazing Weston Beachfront was shouting for years. Full glass front, large tables with a mixture of chairs, warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. My latte came in a large cup, freshly prepared to a great standard. The Cod and Chips was freshly cooked, the batter was thin and crispy with delicious tartare sauce. It was plated and served with finesse and style which gave me a restaurant feel in this laid back environment. We topped this off with some Ice-Cream; slightly overpriced but delicious. The team is attentive and welcoming, make sure you look after them well. Having worked in hospitality for years at least a tip jar is needed:) Not sure when this place opened to its guests, but we'll be back for sure and I hope you keep doing what...

The Bay Cafe …. great location, great staff and great food. Immaculately clean, very attentive staff, good value. Lots of room for those with mobility issues and toilet facilities very clean with separate disabled loo. Good parking opportunities right outside. Very dog friendly with water bowls, treats and puppycinos available. Can book in advance if there are four or more of you. We enjoyed americanos and lattes mid morning and returned for lunch after a stroll along the prom. Ham, egg and chips for 3 of us and an all day brunch for the other. The roasted ham was the outright winner. In you’re in the area looking for good coffee and food, where you can comfortably ditch your coat and warm up from the bitter temperatures outside, you will receive the warmest of welcomes and leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. When you see this place and want breakfast sit watching the blonde long hair girl who hasn't got it tied up correctly wiping her nose with her hand and carry on serving, playing with her hair and serving food and saying out loud who would eat breakfast after 12 not right, Well I think all these things are not right in a food place, Hygiene is important, Staff unfriendly with serving and attitudes are not good, it says breakfast served till midday but stop at 11.45 it's not right.. Well when the food eventually came out the order was completely wrong the girl said we don't do children's breakfast I pointed out its on the menu. They did refund us and apologise but its not the point, Good service and hygiene and quality is the point, I won't be going back...
