Chutney's Indian Takeaway Weymouth — Restaurant in Weymouth

Flavour wizards work here. Been to most Indian takeaways and restaurants in weymouth if there's a choice on Indians, this is the one I keep coming back too. It's always good. ordered recently I watched the guy tally up the bill (I seen £26) he scratched it out and told me £20. I gave the guy 25 because I already withdrew £30(and I worked it out to be 26£ too) , the chap behind the counter politely asked why I insisted even though he told me the bill was only 20. I told him I never had a bad curry here and although a fiver wasnt going to buy them all a beer, the curry is worth it. We had come down to Weymouth on holiday and checked the reviews before we left the Midlands for a decent Indian takeaway and we were impressed by the reviews of Chutneys so we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. The service was one of the best that we have been to, and the food...wow,it was fantastic to say the least. The portions were large, the price was excellent and the flavour was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend Chutneys Indian Takeaway and if we get chance I will be returning for another meal before...

Would not recommend. We ordered our food and waited 80 minutes for it to arrive. The sauce was the saltiest we’ve ever tasted, I ordered the madras, my wife the Ceylon. You could not taste the flavour, it was just salty! The nann breads were tiny also, although the rice and onion bhaji’s were ok. Called to discuss (5 times without being answered) and when finally they answered and we explained he laughed and said ‘yeah sometimes that happens!’. Then waited an hour for our refund. Poor service and poor food...
