Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Winchester

Wouldn't even rate this store a 1 star but!!! Staff are rude and blunt, especially the ginger one she needs to work on smiling and washing her hands. I was in the store for over an hour and not once did she or any other member of staff wash her hands and she was touching money then making food and drinks. To make things worse I ordered a takesway tea and she put her unwashed hands inside the cup then proceed to make the drink. I know full well that from till to drinks hand should be washed. So why that now the virus is about and its a hospital store are not one member of staff washing hands....

Went in here with my one year old grandson while my wife attended an appointment. It was very busy and obviously popular. When I placed my order the lady behind the counter could see that I was struggling with the baby, the buggy and two bags and offered to bring my order to the table even though there were lots of people waiting. What service. Good clean high chair and the usual excellent coffee and a mince pie....

This is a great facility for Winchester Hospital. The staff are great but they are run off their feet - there should be at least one more. They are dealing with counter orders, pre orders from the machine and running the shop. A lot of it is quite often closed off as they can’t keep up with the clearing and cleaning. It is also full of flies and they are crawling all over the back wall. Quite nasty for a hospital...
