Toast — Restaurant in Wirral

My friend and I came here yesterday. I believe the manager served us (she was wearing a black outfit with a beige cap) and she was absolutely delightful. I ordered a gluten free Brie and cranberry toasted sandwich and my friend ordered a tuna and cheese toasted panini. We sat at a table at the back and staff members constantly put other orders on our table so that they could open the doors as it was a busy period and lots of people were sat outside. At one point I went up to the counter to ask where the toilets were and all of the staff members (except the nice lady at the start who wasn’t there) just looked at me and carried on doing what they were doing. The Brie and cranberry toasted sandwich I had tasted so disgusting that I couldn’t eat it. It genuinely tasted like vomit. My friend and I have woken up this morning and my friend has severe food poisoning. She keeps throwing up tuna, and the only tuna she ate yesterday was the tuna and cheese panini from this cafe. The location of this cafe is fab - but very disappointed today, secure an outside front tar for myself and my dog. Waited for a whole for staff to appear to discover you have to order at the till, which is right at the back. As I was on my own with my dog, I asked one of a staff member who was cleaning tables and bringing food, if I could order through her, as I couldn't go inside to order with my dog. She looked blank and said no and couldn't I tie my dog up - I explained that I was not prepared to do this due to the huge number of dog thefts and surely I could just order and she bring the food, as she was doing with everyone else. No, I don't know what to suggest was her unconcerned and unhelpful response. I left. I was just in about 5 minutes ago, and ordered a latte and cake to go. I was given a discount, which I presumed was a deal on takeaway (eg no tax on takeaway food). The woman who served me presumed I worked for Merseyrail and when I told her I didn't she became irate at the fact she'd given me the discount, as if it was my fault. I explained I work locally and wanted to support a local business, and asked for a loyalty card. In front of other customers behind me she explained that she'd accidentally given me a sizeable discount that I shouldn't have taken and as such wasn't eligible for a loyalty card, and made a point of making me feel as though I'd ripped them off.
