So, I checked out the Little Dessert Shop in Wolverhampton's city center recently, and let me tell ya, I had to make to return the same week! This place is like a dessert lover's dream come true. They've got a menu that's so darn attractive; it'll have you drooling just looking at the pictures.

The staff here were mostly sweet as the treats they served, and they actually greet you when you walk in – that's a plus in my book. Speaking of the menu, they've got these awesome photos that help you decide what you wanna stuff your face with.

On my first visit, which happened to be my birthday, I dug into the Strawberry Sensation Waffles and a Cookie Dough dessert. Man, those waffles with strawberries and chocolate were a classic delight. My buddy went for the Oreo dessert and couldn't stop raving about it.

The next time, I decided to dine in and went for the "Did Someone Say S'mores Sundae" – it's got Lotus Biscoff, banana, Reece’s butter cups, marshmallows, salted caramel, Salted Speculoos gelato, and vanilla ice cream. That sundae was a flavor explosion, but I gotta say, the Birthday Brownie was a letdown – didn't agree with my taste buds at all.

Now, here's the only bummer – I mentioned it was my birthday, but they didn't do anything special like writing "Happy Birthday" on my dessert plate. That would've been a nice touch.

All in all, if you're into desserts that'll make your sweet tooth dance with joy, Little Dessert Shop is the spot to hit up. Just maybe don't expect too much birthday fanfare, but the treats sure...

There are a few areas where the brand could significantly improve. Food Quality & Preparation: The waffle was noticeably overcooked and tasted more burnt than freshly baked. The flavour didn’t quite meet expectations, and the ice cream was quite bland. Customer Interaction: While the service wasn’t unfriendly, it lacked genuine engagement. The interaction felt very transactional, simply taking the order without any effort to connect or explore customer preferences. For instance, when I suggested adding lemon meringue as a flavour, it felt as though the idea wasn’t acknowledged or valued. Encouraging staff to have more meaningful conversations with customers could help unlock valuable insights and enhance your product offerings, without the need for costly market research. Packaging for Takeaway: Given that this was a takeaway order, it would have been thoughtful to include a napkin and cutlery. It's not safe to assume every customer is heading home, some may be travelling or staying in places without access to those essentials. This kind of foresight would really elevate the customer experience. Lastly, based on my visit, I feel the brand is currently trailing behind key competitors like Heavenly Desserts. There is a lot of...

Ordered two waffles and two sundaes to be delivered to my home address.Delivery was on time but my order was wong.I had been sent many different varietys of waffles, pancakes, lots of different variety cookie doughs and eight different cakes and loads of different flavoured sundaes. Being honest i phoned the shop and explained that i had been given the wrong order and that the items i had recieved where at least ten times more expensive than what i had paid. The person on the other end of the phone started having attitude with me and shouting all because i said can you please send someone to collect the food cus i have been given the wrong order. It took 2 hours to get my original order which was the fault of the dessert shop not mine and no apology for messing up the order in the first place Wish i had of kept all the extra desserts now instead of not wanting the company to be out of pocket this is what you get for trying to do the right thing. Not a nice company to order from will never order...

Past twice I have been here . Desserts and service have not been good. The one time was a good while ago before current situation and was still bad, they had ran out of the dessert I wanted and I wasnt offered any alternative, so I chose broken rainbow waffle i think there was around 4 M&Ms on the whole . Nobody asked if the dessert was okay and left to it. This last time i went service was very slow waiting around 30/40 minutes for desserts 2/3 were brought out so 3rd diner was left waiting for theirs and extra 15 minutes. I think my dessert had been left on the side for a while as icecream on top had melted , description said garnished with strawberries , there were none and paid extra for cream which didnt come. Service was very slow and would have waited a long time to say anything about how my dessert was to the servers. I think here hasnt been very good for a while and still hasnt improved.

Worst concrete cake I’ve had. Concrete cake with custard cost £4.25 each we got 2 . It was so hard and dry , I didn’t realise they import it from the Sahara desert. Despite its name ‘concrete ‘ it’s still meant to be edible. The two female staff were quite friendly but forgot to give me spoons so I had to go back & they said they only have forks , don’t know how you’re meant to have custard with a fork? I had to go ask for plastic spoons from a random takeaway who were kind enough to give. If you want nice concrete cake just go to heavenly desserts , bismillah bakery or dixys. My cravings weren’t satisfied so here I am at 3am having a concrete cake ( see pic) from local newsagents you can get this at any Asian shop supermarket place especially in Birmingham. Anyway it’s £1 and million times nicer than the one from dessert shop which cost 4 times more
