No 1 Pizza (Wolverhampton) — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Well, well, well...... how this place has gone down hill. For the second time in a few weeks No. 1 Pizza Wolverhampton have happily taken my money via their website only to leave me with no food nearly 2 and a half hours after placing said order. Their phone lines go un-answered (both numbers). Their WhatsApp service also offers no reply. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking it was a one off. More fool me. After years of using them (my online account shows I've spent nearly £1,000 with them to date), I'm done! It's a shame as their food is good and until recently the service has matched it.

UPDATE; After just under 3 hours the food turned up. I advised the driver I didn't want it as I ordered at 11:03pm and despite the website giving a delivery estimate of 45-60 minutes, he turned up at just before 2am. He told me the shop hadn't answered the phone and the manager was unavailable to discuss the issue as they "are too busy"........ Excellent customer service 🙄 When I challenged him, he jumped in his car and drove off at high speed. Professional, good work... (🙄 again).

As a comparison, I ordered with Domino's at 12:52am after I gave up hope of No.1 turning up. Domino's turned...

They served my disabled son chicken with blood seeping out of the center. The managers son denied this was blood and said it was juice or oil. I asked him would he mind eating a piece and he refused. He argued with me, he said he will not apologise because he owns the shop. His attitude was disgusting and my kids were upset by the level of aggression he was willing to use, to hide his raw, blood seeping chicken. I will never use the place again my child could have been seriously ill. He slammed my £13 back with no apology. This immature boy has a lot to learn. Daddy did not teach him - ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER.

P.s don't try to make people believe bright red blood is oil !!!!!

PLEASE GO TO MOMO'S NEXT DOOR, WE TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED TO US HE MADE US ALL FRESH GRILLED CHICKEN AT NO COST BECAUSE HE COULD SEE THE CHLDREN WERE UPSET AT THE WAY WE HAD BEEN TREATED. WHAT AN AMAZING MAN!! HE MADE THE KIDS LAUGH AND EVEN APOLOGISED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO...

I ordered the meal deal to be delivered but incurred a £2 delivery fee due to distance (I live all of 2 miles away) I also got stung for a card fee, interesting that even though my order was nigh on £40 and I'm pretty sure card fees are not allowed to be directly chargeable to the customer.

The pizzas turned up and they were on the burnt side of well done, the chicken Tikka had no flavor and the BBQ wings were missing any sort of flavour whatsoever ever I also bizarrely got given a slice of chocolate cake instead of Ben & Jerry's cookie doh ice cream!

The drink was only 1.25l instead of the 1.5l as sold to me

Not sure this is the no.1 pizza or No one (should eat here) Pizza. I won't be troubling them again there are plenty of better options around the town to use.

Oh shout out to the delivery guy, I don't expect sunshine and rainbows but at least be polite when delivering...
