Went on Sunday placed an app order for collection at 19:20 didn’t receive my food untill after 19:45 was told I was waiting for fries the two times I asked where my order was even though I could clearly see the guy making and bagging fries for many orders

What then made it worse was the two most expensive burgers were cold and my Mac and cheese triangles too half the order was hot so clearly they left half my order lying round for 20/30 minutes also my burger was wrong even though I had requested on the app a substitution of cheese to pizza cheese and egg for hash brown which (every other branch of Mak Halal do for me no issues)

I even called up soon as I placed the to double clarify my request which they hesitantly agreed to do but then still didn’t do it right

I have visited this branch several times and They often get your order wrong at this branch additionally and always refuse to make alterations and swaps on items even though every other branch of Mak halal I have ever visited don’t ever have a problem quite clear to see customer service or satisfaction isn’t a priority at this branch

I am the customer why is it so difficult to give me what I want like I even offer to pay extra But the biggest frustration is having half my order stone cold and then having to wait nearly half an hour after my collection...

Edit: DON'T BRING FAMILIES, better not visit solo as well. Staff behaviour has changed, the food may be halal but service is not. As per my consecutive recent experience, males are specifically served at counter by the females and vice versa, although the opposite staff is available. A shameless male staff was continuously staring and approaching my wife wierdly, trying to engage her with an excuse of service and I had to intervene everytime. The female staff was stopping me from interfering.

Previous Review: Very friendly and decent staff, helped us to select better choices, served timely as per the choices we desired. Good for families to visit, no noise, decent environment.

Loaded fries and chicken burgers are great and delicious, beef burgers are a bit costly for the price and given taste.

The staff gave us a separate prayer room when we asked. Also has separate toilets for males and females.

Location is near bus and train station around the corner in city centre. Good for am eat-in or take-away after...

WENT IN THE OTHER NIGHT TO GRAB SOMETHING TO EAT & THERE WAS 4-5 GUYS & ONE GIRL & THEY GOT THF GIRL TO SERVE ME KNOWINGLY I'VE HAD A DRINK THEN WHEN I SLIP & SAY WITH SLANG BC REFERRING TO WHAT SHALL I GET & ALL THE GUYS COME ON TO ME WITH THE WORDS BC & MC WHY DID I SWEAR? I TOLD THEM I WAS THINKING OUT LOUD "BC WHAT SHALL I GET" I ASKED TO SEE THE BOSS & WHEN I ASKED HIM OUTSIDE IS IT JUSTIFYING TO SAY TO YOUR CUSTOMERS BC OR MC JUST BECAUSE A CUSTOMER SAID BC? HE SAID IF HE HEARD ME HE WOULD HAVE BEATEN ME UP! LOL TO THE HQ I HOPE YOU ARE READING THIS. YOU SHOULD ENVOKE HIS LICENCE & KICK HIM OUT!
