Bodrum Delight — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

A taste of authentic Turkish cuisine delivered right to my doorstep! Having spent time in Kalkan, I was delighted to find that Bodrum Delight's food transported me right back to those sunny Turkish holidays.

The Patlican Soslu (smoky eggplant dish) was beautifully prepared, with layers of flavor that showed real skill in the kitchen. The Sigari Boregi was crispy and perfectly filled, while the Lamb Shish was tender and seasoned just right.

What really stood out was the quality of their dipping bread - it was the perfect vehicle for their silky hummus and the flavorful Patlican Ezme. The only miss was the chips, which I'd skip next time in favor of more traditional sides.

Large group of us and they sensibly suggested a preorder. They were accommodating of last minute changes even those made after we arrived. Although it took a while between the first person's meal being served and the last, this was understandable given only two members of staff and everything being prepared fresh for 20 people. BYO drinks and there are convenience stores on the same road. They do serve soft drinks. The food was tasty and fresh without being greasy. Generous portions. This place is a joke, no customer inside but wanted to give it a chance, theres no staffs only one man taking order, cooking the food for you and then serving it himself. All I could hear is the microwave while we was waiting for the food, so basically the good were all frozen, 40 min later we get served our food, by the looks of it, it looked good but you could taste it definitely was not fresh. Rice smelt off, and I wasnt given my lamb shish as stated on the menu. It wasnt a good experience, and I wasnt going to leave a review, but I had stomach pains and felt unwell for about a week after this. Sorry...
