Worst restaurant in all of UK. I never leave negative reviews but this place does not deserve to exist, it is THAT BAD. We had to wait an hour and a half just for our starters to arrive, the drinks we ordered kept being wrong. Ordered a tequila shot and got handed a pint of lemonade. Asked to replace the lemonade with a tequila shot and kept waiting. Ordered some other drinks that never arrived. Othered a Campari cocktail which was just water with a little bit of Campari flavour. Once the food finally arrived we had to clear the table, put away menus and make space ourselves. The steaks were well done and super chewy (never asked us how we want them and definitely didn’t want them well done). After waiting a lot of time we told the owner that were still missing a pizza and he arrogantly told us: “it’s not in the order, you didn’t order it” went downstairs to show check the order with him and guess what? It was in the order. Mistakes happen, I asked the owner what’s going on, is there a problem or reason for so many mistakes happening? The owner started showing attitude and told: do you want to come help me in the kitchen? Do you know how I’m working down there? I was appalled by his arrogance and attitude. If you don’t know how to talk to people you should not be in the hospitality business. Never seen such an arrogant person talking like that after clearly being in the wrong. The pizza tasted ok, some other food was awful. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place. The owner had told us earlier that the place is soon rebranding to an Indian restaurant. I will be updating my review and leaving it under the new name as well. You can get a glimpse of the owner’s arrogance by reading his reply to the other negative review left by another customer. Firstly, I don’t usually leave a review unless it’s exceptional. Well we went here for the first time yesterday for Mother’s Day and we had a beyond exceptional experience.

Firstly, the owner is so welcoming, lovely and attentive and this is matched by all the staff. Nothing was too much. The chef offered some bespoke dishes as we were vegetarian which we thought was lovely, but their service truly excelled even more so that they actually stayed open past their closing time as we hadn’t finished eating and it was no fault of theirs. We have not had this level of service anywhere.

Secondly, the food was amazing. Hands down, one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We ordered the marinara, vegetarian and margherita and they were all so tasty. Proper pizzas with a thin crispy base. The chips and pasta were all very good too.

All I can say is 100/10 for customer service, and the food. From we walked in to when we left it was all top tier. (We ordered take away) The food is made fresh, they asked if we didn't mind waiting, we said that's fine, the chief also came out the kitchen to greet us, they even said hi to my 2year old son and shook his hand, making him feel special, and then gave him some toys to play with whilst we waited for our food to be done, The chief asked if my son was going to be eating our food, we said yes, so he cooked our food with less salt, (big thing for us) plus we didn't even have to ask. Once we got the food home, everything got even better, the pasta and pizza was amazing, not much keeps my partner quiet but the 4 cheese pizza did.
