Turkish Delight — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Absolutely shocking service provided from them have been ordering for many years however these previous 5 times I’ve ordered it’s been very poor from themselves. When ringing and asking the staff at the takeaway to rectify their mistake the staff had aggressively responded that “the shop was very busy” and they said that “ don’t cause us any trouble”. When breaking down the delivery with the takeaway, I discovered that I was overcharged massively, which the staff tried to excuse themselves by stating that they were “too busy”. As a loyal customer for many years to this takeaway , I am deeply dismayed by not only the food that has been provided but also the customer service that has been provided by them over the many times that I have ordered form there; I have given them numerous chances yet the same excuse is given that they are “too busy” to provide food for their customers. Portion sizes are minimal whilst prices have increased; service is utterly despicable. Absolutely mortified by the treatment that I was given. Ordered food at 1am for delivery. Food arrived at 2.27am to my hotel. After being told on their booking system this would take 55mins and agreeing to a delivery of that length of time, I should have been advised of any further delay.

Disgusting customer service, as I contacted by phone 20 mins after ordering to check the actual length of time and was told 20 mins, yet food arrived 1hr after the phone call. When I complained to the driver about the time of delivery he apologised and said the shop was busy. I asked for a refund, as the food was cold and inedible. He said no we are the best and proceeded to dispute the service issue.

Rule 101 acknowledge when there is a service failure. 1hr27mins delivery service is unacceptable. I should have been fully refunded following this poor experience. To top it all off I cant even eat the food...

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed and Treated Unfairly

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I ordered from Turkish delight, only to be charged far more than what was listed or expected. When I calmly questioned the pricing and asked for a refund, the staff refused to engage respectfully, £9.20 large chicken and chips is ridiculous priced for a portion, got robbed. Instead of resolving the issue, they escalated the situation by calling the police—simply because I asked for my money back.

I felt intimidated and humiliated over what should have been a straightforward conversation. No customer should be treated this way for raising a valid concern. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering...
