I believe I have found the definitive specialty coffee experience in Worcester!
The atmosphere of the shop is enveloping - The feeling of spending time underneath the beautiful Worcester railway arches provides an experience simply like no other - The natural light shines proudly through the large, industrial-style windows, and the experience of trains travelling overhead is truly breathtaking.
The service and staff absolutely amazed me, as even with a busy, midday aura I was able to communicate with staff (despite my somewhat poor social skills) and order what can only be described as the pinnacle of a specialty coffee experience.
This is shown by the coffee service itself - I ordered their V60 service, which was soon delivered to my table fully equipped with the perfect implements for tasting:
The coffee itself, held within a carafe (made by the favoured brand Hario) was of perfect drinking temperature upon delivery. Everything was served on a large, wooden tablet which perfectly matches it's surroundings.
The drinkware was a high-quality ceramic solo cup, not dissimilar to what one may find within a Gōngfū Chá ceremony.
The Inclusion of a ceramic water pitcher and glass, alongside a shot of oil to really allow you to open up the drink, if desired. It's these extras which really display their knowledge, as I have never found such inclusions elsewhere.
I finished my coffee in about 15-20 minutes - The experience was incredible, and the quality of coffee was unlike anything I have had in a Café before. The tasting notes were clear, and the coffee itself was brewed true to it's roaster's intentions. One of the best parts about this is the aftertaste, which is incredibly pleasant when compared to the nastier experiences that I have had in the past with lower-quality coffee.
Upon my exit, I noticed the organic food options available, which seemed to be popular, and I also purchased a whole bean bag of the coffee I drank today.
I did not take any photographs on this trip, but I shall next time, as this will definitely become my go-to spot whenever I'm in town.
The only negatives I found was that at this time, they only accept card payments - Which isn't too much of a concern - It may even help boost your credit score. Tips are also accepted in cash. I'm sure this won't be much of a problem to many.
The place, overall is a perfect little spot to enjoy a specialty brew, their excellence in their craft is well displayed and also is very popular for conducting business meetings. A large variety of drinks are served here, and for the price, it absolutely destroys it's franchised competition.
I fully support their mission in bringing Specialty coffee back into the café, and their ability to rival the modern "pudding in a cup" drinks being served at easily double the price by their competitors. Very well done!

Read moreExiled to Worcester from London was a big step. I mean where would I find good coffee to drink, and beans to take home, when I'm too afraid to face Worcester's nightmare traffic. I love walking, Worcester is ok for this as its compacto, a tad Seaside for fans of Truman. Or a bit Hot Fuzz, or Punxsutawney...ok enough of the small town sorry city notes...I digress! The welcome, the service and coffee are super, I knew they would be, given their history since 2014 and ethical poistioning allied knowing suppliers, fair pricing etc with genuine care for the journey of coffee beans and the end product, coffee and their customers. If an opportunity presents itself for investment, I would happily oblige. This is the best coffee in the Woo (as you local lot like to say.) Not to be confused with the Wu of the Tang or the Han. Anyway, loved the place and product, purchasing some freshly roasted beans, Hay blend and an Ethiopian variety. Only minor for me was the outdoor space: it could be better utilised with a modicum of love to make it more inviting and comfortable regardkess of weather. Let's not kid ourselves, the Woo, like much of the UK, is generally wet and...

Nestled under railway arches is the (sort of hidden) gem of Worcester. I recommend anyone who is in Worcester or not too far, to stop by for an absolutely amazing coffee and cake.
I exclusively buy my coffee beans from Method, they have a curated selection of beans and the ones sourced from South America are my favourite, the Colombia Potosi in particular. Beans are invariably sold within a couple of days of roasting.
Method take the time to properly find the best, roast it to perfection on-site, and sell the freshest and tastiest coffee.
The snacks, cakes and atmosphere is superb, there's outside seating, a cosy interior with views of the roastery and toilet facilities.
