As a person who spends a lot of the year in Italy , I was really pleased to see a new Italian restaurant open in Worcester . In all honesty , I was a little underwhelmed. The canelloni starter was very nice , but was let down by poor and slow service . Was asked for my desert order before my main course arrived (I think they forgot the order ) and asked for drinks that never arrived. The waiting staff were very young and obviously lacking in experience, customer service and attention to detail. Out of fairness , the drinks that never arrived did not appear on the bill . My pizza was very disappointing. The base was not freshly made in my opinion and not cooked (again in my opinion) in a traditional pizza oven. My partner , who is Italian , thought her pizza was poor . She ordered the “pizza prosciutto di Parma” In her opinion it was not “Parma Ham” on the pizza but a much less expensive alternative . The interior is pleasant and the atmosphere within the venue was very nice . Read moreI have found this restaurant while I was in Worcester Center wandering around. At the first glance ,by the sign from the entrance didn't seemed so much but I decided to give it a chance as I know that an Italian restaurant MUST be good, once I have entered I have been pleasantly surprised to find a really lovely atmosphere with old Italian movie stars theme ,including Toto that I love :) Been greated by one of the most pleasant and polite man, a real professional which made me feel straight away, that I was in the right place. I have ordered bruscheta al pomodoro and Fritto misto ,the food was really tasty and I had really enjoyed it.Seeing the Menu ,they have plenty of things to try and the prices are really good, apart the Menu they have lunch and dinner offers too.I am really glad that I gave it a chance and I do highly recommend it. Thank you so much for such a...
Read moreBooked to eat here whilst staying in the area after reading lots of food reviews - I think when we visited it may have been an off day. The service was friendly but it took a long time to take our order and bring our drinks. I ordered tortellini and it was quite undercooked, and definitely didn't seem home made rather more like something you buy in the supermarket and was quite bland. The sauce however was nice and seemed fresh. The pizza my husband ordered also seemed like the base was shop bought. The menu was vast and I wonder if they are just trying to do too many dishes which makes it hard to do them all to a high standard. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this to anyone wanting fresh authentic...
