PIZZA FREAKZ — Restaurant in Worcester

Very frustrated customer here, we went here once before as we were in the area and loved it. This time 09/03/24 we were travelling somewhere south, so took a route via Worcester just to eat here. It says on Google, although also says may be incorrect, that it opens at 12. So we got there at 12:05 pm. Door locked. Waited till till 12:15 and thought to try to call. No number on Google. Checked Instagram, there's a number. Not connected. Email address was there, so emailed. No response till date. Also DM'd on Insta, still no response. Waited till 12:30, still no response. By this point there was a queue of frustrated people outside. Asked in the Hop shop below, they gave a sarcastic response like it wasn't there issue, and it wasn't, but being a little helpful would have been appreciated. No signs on the front door with opening hours, no contact details.

After a long wait and frustrated child who waited all week to eat here, we went to Pizza Express and found out that it was much cheaper £16 vs £28 for a whole pizza, and throughly enjoyed the food.

Shame that they have a great product but have no way to be able to sell it if you don't open your doors when you say you should, and don't respond to comms.

Edit: Amazing it took 2 months to respond with a lie. They were inside, all lights were on and we could see movement of people when we crossed the road and tried to catch the attention of them.

Also, rather than an apology for inconvenience, a sarcastic threat. I suggest taking business elsewhere rather than paying this guy for this type of response. I suggest he learn from the competition rather than being arrogant.

Besides, I didn't realise that a train being late stopped a phone number from being updated and Instagram from working....

I'm a big pizza fan but it's hard to come by these days. So much take away trash out there it's all you can find mostly. So I like to travel around and find the good stuff. I've been lots places all over the Midlands and those good quality pizza spots are out there. Leaven pizza in Hereford being my favourite.. So far. However today I visited Pizza Freaks in Worcester. Wow! My new favourite pizza. I've never been to NYC but this, in my minds eye/tastes buds, is everything I imaged an NYC slice shop would be. The crust on the pizza is crisp, light, airy and crisp.. Did I say crisp? It has flavour to and stands out well from other pizza's that claim to be sourdough or long fermentation doughs. Best pizza sauce I've had. Quality of ingredients is top notch. The cans of tomato are not just for display it's what they actually use. Will defo be visiting for slices! If you like good quality pizza then try this place you won't be...

Really disappointed with the customer service in here tonight. We've eaten here so many times and the service has been great but unfortunately the staff member tonight was incredibly rude to us (4 of us) pulling faces and responding incredibly rudely when asked basic questions. There is no excuse for bad customer service. We were polite throughout. The pizza was amazing but felt very unwelcome and unwanted. On another note food service rule number 1... If you have long hair wear it up! No one wants hair...
