I mean not quite sure where to start, however I will say I never ate in the establishment, but I'm greatful that I didn't based on some reviews, I ordered from one of their vendors The Beef Guy, I ordered was was described as a fully loaded hotdog ... And I can safely say it was not fully loaded and looked nothing like their social media shows as images. It was cold, the hot dog tasted like a own brand tinned dog that was heated by candle light, half the fillings were missing and well it was very underwhelming in size especially for over £20 for 2 hotdogs ... and to top it off I was promised a refund and a free meal.. clearly my refund must be at the end of a rainbow with a pot of gold because I still haven't been lucky enough to get said refund but who can find the end of a rainbow ?? And the free meal I think I'm alright on that one. Shame ... This company seems to have all the gear and no idea, only good thing I can tell is that it's once less empty un-rentes shop to look at in town. Seen there have been some replies saying fake review so I thought I would add a picture of what they say they offer and what I got and better yet if they are really bothered I can post the communication from the business with their...
Read moreI love the idea of this place (similar to Box Park) but the lighting is AWFUL for the daytime. They need to have daytime lighting and keep the weird yellow/purple light for the evening. It makes it hard to promote any of the food vendors as you can’t take good pictures, and it’s just odd lighting to sit in during the day.
The food we had was good, we had the Greek food. But it would have been better if there were order to the table QR codes or buzzers so you know your order is ready as it gets crowded in front of the vendors.
I liked the access to the sauces and cutlery but would have preferred wooden cutlery as a couple of the metal forks were dirty still. There were also no obvious napkins, and we weren’t sure where to put the used forks.
This place has a lot of potential and I would love to support them going forward but I think there are a few items that need to be amended, lighting being a big one as it really impacts...
Read moreWeird atmosphere, I think it was the lighting choice and layout.
The logistics were poorly thought out, there were no QR codes to order from the table / see a menu, so you have to go up to the individual booths to see what is available and order. Not great if you’re in a group who want different things or if you want to order drinks from the bar and food elsewhere.
There are no table numbers or buzzer system, so the waiting staff have to try to remember who the food is for, so you watch them walking around for ages trying to work it out, whilst the food gets cold (this happened to me).
We both had the jerk chicken and rice and whilst the flavour of the jerk was nice, it was quite overpriced for £13, and we both had bad digestion for the rest of the night.
Overall wouldn’t recommend, and not planning on heading back...
