Worst Dunkin I have EVER been too.
First. You can mobile order, but don't be fooled thinking you can order 15 minutes early and your order will be in the lobby waiting for you to grab it and go. They lock the doors and laugh at customers that think they can grab their order, along with mocking them and making in fun of them. You'll be forced to sit in the line (that goes around the building) for at least 45 minutes before you get to the window.
Once you get to the window, the white chick with the mustache and beard will get extremely nasty with you. Because how dare you place an online order, and NOT accept the car behind yours coffee. If you're as lucky as me... she'll take the wrong coffee and dump it into an extra large cup and top it off with water! YUMMMMY! She'll roll her eyes at you and cop a huge attitude when you request the rest of your $30.00 order, you note placed an hour ago! She'll toss a bag at you and in a nasty voice say "have a great day" and close the window in your face. A few minutes later she'll pretend she just saw you still sitting in the line at the window and she'll open it and stare at you like you're the idiot and say "yesss". You'll then ask for the 1/2 dozen donuts you paid $9.00 for that she didn't give you, she'll bark back and say "what kind!?" You'll tell her, then she'll get snotty and say went out of those, you'll try again, they'll be out of those too, finally you'll give up and ask what they DO have and she'll get nastier! Finally you'll get your donuts and she'll get rude and close the window in your face.... AGAIN. If you're like me, you'll call her out on her behavior and demand the rest of your order. Then TAYLOR, the oblivious black girl in the kitchen, will come out and try to run her mouth, with an entourage of other unmotivated rock munchers. You'll get so fed up you still won't have all your items and you'll leave and call and complain.
3 weeks later, someone will contact you, and give you the copy and paste email about "were sorry we strive for greatness blah blah blah", while doing nothing to fix the issues.
Save upset a headache and don't go to...
Read moreIt was about 11am and I mobile ordered 2 donuts and 2 coffees. Coffee was delicious but the interactions from staff was hostile and aggressive. The FIRST thing I noticed was an 82.0 health score. I don’t know what in the WORLD you have to do to get a score that low. Anyways, I went up to say I was here for my mobile order and was told they were out of one of the donuts, (I want to say the first employee I talked to was doing her best and not the issue here). I went back to ask my partner what kind they would like instead. When I came back the lobby was full and the lady helping me was gone. My one drink was on the counter by the register and then someone else called out my order name and my other drink was at the pick up window. I was still waiting on a donut when an employee walked up and asked every customer (aggressively) what they were waiting for. I told her I was waiting for donuts, another employee called me up and asked me how many and of what kind. Every donut was a powdered donut and limited quantity. The chocolate frosted donuts had the paper folded over so I didn’t know if there was any underneath it. I asked if they had any of that kind and another employee turned around and yelled “all that we have is out” and with a strong force pushed the metal racks into the glass for me to get a “closer look” I’m assuming. The employees really made me feel like the biggest inconvenience for asking a simple question. I asked for a refund for the donut they were out of. I rather have $1.50 then a powdered donut I didn’t want, served with the upmost disrespect. Of course my refund was done with a lot of “passion” if that’s what you want to call it. Learn how to treat your customers better y’all. We really aren’t the one’s who gave you that health score or poor product management. Get a manager or staff that actually cares just half an ounce more than the current staff. I’ve worked in restaurant management for 8 years and have never been so disgusted by a group of team members. I understand having a rough night and a whole lot of outside factors, but you always have the choice of how you...
Read moreWent there yesterday (23 July 2016) and tried to reimburse one of my DD Perks rewards at the DD location in Aberdeen, NC. First problem, the line in drive through was not to long but the wait time was incredibly long. I Next, the staff at the store either did not know how to process the DD Perks reward for a free beverage or they simply chose not honor my DD Perks Reward. I have been a loyal DD Perks customer for quite some time. I will contact corporate and request two things: (1) Please reimburse me the rewards I had that will otherwise expire because this DD chose not to accept my free beverage reward.. I tried to use the reward and it is not my fault that the store in Aberdeen, NC would not honor it. (2) Corporate should educate the management at this franchise on the DD Perks program. As a customer, I should not have to feel as though I am undergoing a science experiment to reimburse a DD Perks rewards. I have been to at least 20 different DD Franchises and this seemed to be the only DD location that would not reimburse a DD Perks Free Beverage Rewards. Based on reading other reviews, it appears there a bunch of other problems with this location.
Update. Updating review from 1 Star to 2.5 Stars. On 28 July 2016, a store manager contacted me , apologized, and admitted that the store was in the process of training its members on the DD Perks Program. Hopefully this is a sign that they are addressing the trend of problems I pointed out in my earlier review. Kudos to the management for attempting to correct...
